Hello. Try loosening the nut below the handle just a wee bit. This will usually solve the stiff problem. J.

What would be the problem if powersteering is very stiff. Have drained and replaced with new ATF, but still stiff?

Check the drive belt for condition and tension. Have a pressure test done on the pump to ensure that there is no internal problems . Check for relief valve operation . Check that the valves in the box/rack are operational and not stuck. Most of these suggestion will have to carried out by an accredited steering repair shop. If you have an electric driven pump check that the motor is getting current and is operational.

Toilet handle sticks

It sounds like the nylon nut which holds the handle in place is too tight. Try loosening that nylon nut just a little to see if the handle moves easier. Sometimes if they are over-tightened, the handle will be stiff and hard to operate.

The handle function is stiff. Does not move smoothly and easily. How to lubricate?

You need to take the handle off and remove the cariridge and then place a food grade lube on all the moving parts. The replace the parts as you took them off.

You may fine your going to have to replace the cartridge after you remove the old one. So just dont do it at a time when the store are not open. Unless you have valves under the sink faucet

Best of luck

Really stiff turning. I am looking at a 2008 CBR 600 on craigslist and when I took it for a ride, the handlebars were extremely stiff. It's hard to describe, but when doing a tight turn the handlebars...

take a riding course... the instructor will tell you to push the handle bar to the opposite side you are turning when running about 30mph and you really dont turn the handle bar when turning at a high speed. in low speed, handle bars should not be very stiff. maybe check tire pressure.

The door handle on my gmc safari has a broken door handle

You more than likely will have to remove the interior panel on the door which will be fun and take some time. Once you have it removed you should be able to manually operate the linkage and get it opened. I would be ready to locate a new panel just in case you break the original one, but they usually have some give to them if you take it slow. You might try removing the speaker also if you have one in the back door. It might give you enough room to use a stiff wire with a hook bent in it to operate the linkage.
