Question about Toshiba Satellite M65-S821 Notebook
I'm afraid that the red lines indicate that the screen needs to be replaced. As much as I would like to be able to tell you a quickfix that will solve the problem . I work for a Laptop Repair shop and if a solution popped up for removing this problem without having to replace the screen, we'd be very curious to find out about it. The reason is that the flexcable that leads the signals into the actual LCD panel came loose, it is not an external connector issue, but rather related to how the internal signal flow of the LCD panel. It is not a solderable connection that on that can otherwise be repaired.

I have got a White ******** the right hand side of the screen. This is a replacement LCD I bought as a second hand. What I have noticed there is a curcuit at the back of the LCD. Is thıs because of a chip in this curcuit not functioning. I keep the broken original lcd and try to replace the curcuit.
What do you suggest? What is the root cause?

normally with vertical stripes it can happen due to
1.a bad LCD (small little chip inside LCD and can't manual repair)
2.a loose connection cable
so here what I do is first I try to tab at then back of the LCD and see that the problem goes away or not.If yes then a loose connection.
if no what I would do here ,coz I have a spare LCD I just exchange to test it...if the problem goes away then a BAD LCD.
Incase of verticle line due to bad LCD you can't repair it trust me.All the small IC chips are blended with board and can't really be repair.More quesiton feel free to post here.

Looks like LCD problem. Try gently pressing the LCD frame near the hinge, where the stripes are. If they are caused by a bad contact in the LCD driver strip, this sometimes fixes the problem.
