During the boot up process you will see on the screen press delete to enter set up

Press either delete or f2 during the boot up process to enter BIOS press f1 for general help you might be able to access your admin account or scroll down to set user password you can change or remove your password from there

hope this helps

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

That is an great Idea. After connecting it to the computer, you can access the console to change guest account settings. If you need help call 1-855-615-2280.

Hi

If you have forgotten your password to log on to windows then you will not be able to log on to your profile as this needs your windows password.

If you have a sepreate administration account on the laptop you can log on with this make another user account to log on, log on with this account to create your new profile then log off, back on as admin, you should then have access to the users folder and with admin rights you should have access to copy your stuff from the old user profile to the new one.

Toshiba Satallite c660 does not recgonise my profile or password

Hi

If you have forgotten your password then you will not have access to your profile as thay are linked.

You can get round this if you have an administrator account configured log on with this make a new user profile, log out of admin log on to your new user account to set up a new profile, log out and back on as admin, you should then have access to all the profiles in the use folder you can then copy documents from the old profile to the new one. log back on with the new password and user name combo and you should have all your stuff back

Starting my laptop up

You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password and privileges. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot up the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CD which contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removal program. Click on one of these links to download HIREN'S BOOTCD :- http://www.hirensbootcd.net/ http://67.20.82.163/

My daughter has an acer aspire one notebook and her admin user account keeps freezing. is there any way we can delete this account to stop this happening.

You can create another profile for her in the user section of the control panel. If the problem lies only in her account, that will probably help. If she creates a new profile and the problem persists, then you have a lot bigger problem than a corrupted profile.

Cannot Read Store 'n Go Privacy Zone

It sounds like there needs to be an additional account created for the patron on the library computers. This account would have the same name as what was used to set up the Store 'n Go, or it could also be something like "Guest" if there are more than one user. She probably is using an admin account on her home computer so she doesn't have problems. Use the library admin account to grant access to the Store 'n Go for the new account.

I am using Windows vista. every thing just works fine when i log in to my primary account that is administrator but when i switch to some other account on the same computer my yahoo messenger does not...

Ok The Problem is you need to change that programs permissions so that guest have full access only to that program not the whole computer so the computer when log into the other account doesn't block some of the program functions to do this right click on the program you want then say properties then security then you should see something that say admin user etc... click on user then say edit make sure your log in as admin when doing this the check the box that say full control and now click apply close the other box and your done now the program should function right
hope this help doing the following dose not give standards accounts admin privileges it only gives full control to specific programs so that they work properly with out admin rights
