That should work just fine. Use the diagrams available at the link below as a guide. Enter the model number and you will be sent to a page with the parts breakdown as well as part numbers and costs.

How do i rebuild my bostitch n80 frameing nailer

Bostitch nailers are simple to rebuild. Bostitch company was sold to Dewalt so parts are now easier to obtain from local Dewalt service center. Use Ork11 oring kit and tva6 trigger valve. These parts are also available on ebay. Good luck or your nailing projects.

I have N80 coil nailer not exact sure on what exact nail gun it is considered but it is leaking air out exhaust ports as soon as you hook air up to it and cylinder moves slow into the drive position like...

you are correct, also you want to look at the cylinder ring and also the bumpers. These tools are not that hard to rebuild. Make sure that you light grease all the o-rings before reassembly. If the bumpers (under the cylinder) are destroyed you would also need to remove any small fragments from the air tube that goes to the feed piston. Let me know if you need more assistance.

I have a bostitch model nc65 coil nailer. It is having problems returning the piston to the top position and I believe that a reed valve or seal is missing from above the head valve. I can't find any...

Can you verify the model number please? I only see references to N64 or N66 for coil nailers.

Specific to the problem listed, this is usually caused by an air leak through the O-rings. I would replace the O-rings and make sure that the entire area is well lubricated with pneumatic gun oil and try again. This should resolve the problem.

Have framing gun with split neoprene seal( TVA-11 Valve). What is the scam that we have to buy a thirty dollar valve kit as opposed to a thirty cent o-ring. This seems to be a scam. Bostich N80 SB

If the o-ring is the problem, you can get the o-rings separately. I believe that the o-ring kit runs about $12 and contains all of the rings. If hte problem is internal to the trigger assembly, the entire assembly should be replaced. I have replaced the o-rings twice and the trigger once in my N80 in 24 years of service .

My Bostitch N80 fires full auto when I hook it

I would check the safety first to make sure not stuck because this tool is a bump fire. Let me know and then I will find a kit and schematic for you or you can go to Bostitch.com and find the parts online, but I honestly think that you have a safety issue or the trigger valve is malfunctioning.

Leak inside Bostitch N80 Nailer, won't drive nails

If the unit is leaking it most likley need a rebuild kit. Go to a Bostitch service center and ask for an ORK-11 kit. That is all the o-rings needed to do an over haul. Or just have them do it.

Bostich N80 Framing nailer

Sorry about the delayed response. This unit needs to have the O-rings replaced. The return of the firing pin is not happening correctly. This means that the pressure release holes are still engaged. When the pin pushes out the nail, the return should cause the holes to get covered. If there is an air leak, the return will not complete resulting in an even larger air leak which is what you are now seeing. This is a relatively simple repair for any shop that handles these and would be considered a standard maintenance effort. These are decent tools and with proper maintenance will last for years. Mine is over 22years old and going string.
