Question about Corel Paint Shop Pro 9
If the program was reinstalled in the original directory, use the RESTORE in the system tools menu to go back to a time when the program was working.
Another trick is to bring up the task manager, it might tell you on the processes tab what interfered with the program.
something else you can do is to type msconfig and deselect all of the start up background programs (temporarily).
Having said all of that, it is likely that a firewall, or security suite is interfering. You have the option of temporarily disabling either or both to diagnose a problem. If PSP works with one of them disabled, then pare it down till you find the culprit.
Somewhere inn the configuration, we should be able to get it to run.
