Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
Try the following :
Turn the PS3 off into standby (red light on)
Press and hold the power button for 2 beeps (the first beep will be as soon as you press it)
Let go of the power button after the second beep
The PS3 should reset with standard definition video output, if this does not work you could be looking at an HDMI chip failure. Try this method also with the AV lead and see if you get an image.
