Hello,

More than likely, your impeller has something lodged into it. Check the strainer (back wall, on floor) for utensils and such that may have worked their way there.

Plug your model number in @ searspartsdirect.com and you will be presented with a variety of diagrams. You want the diagram that shows how the pump is attached. You will have to remove the dishwasher from the cabinet (unless its portable) to access the pump assembly. Then check the pump. You may have also bent / broke an impeller blade. Given the age of your dishwasher, there may also be a service manual available for it as well.

Having trouble with dishwasher- I feel like dishes are not getting clean- will replacing circuit board on dishwasher help dishing become cleaner?

You may need to clean out the filters that keep food from being pumped up to spray out of the sprayers. This will depend on your make and model as to how to do this. Clogged filters will reduce the amount of water being sprayed. Try opening the door mid cycle to see if there is a vigorous spraying action. If the water being sprayed is underwhelming, it may be clogged filters.

Has become very noisy during sensing cycle.

Either the motor is failing to pump water or there is too much soap in the system. Add 1/4 cup veg oil and run again.

How do you fix a noisy whirlpool dish washer DU1100XTP(Q) ?

A hard object has entered the wash module (on some models).
When the object is ground up, the sound should stop. If the
noise persists after a complete cycle, call for service.

Dishes are not coming out fully clean

first if the pump is running and you can hear it washing it should clean now hot water cleans dishes not the washer the hotter the better at least 130-135 degrees modern dish washers use less water than older models so if you don't get the water as hot as you can stand it at the sink before you turn the washer on you can fill it with cold water second its important that you use jet dry and if your dishes aren't dry at the end of the cycle then on most washers you can turn the disp up for more hope that helps let me know
