Is there documents in the Print Queue? if so "Cancel All", you'll need to restart both the printer and the computer to completely delete the print queues.

Can you hear the USB connection alert sound when you plug in the usb cord (while the printer is on)? if so, then it's detected and they are communicating. If not, then try the printer on another computer having different version of windows installed.

Also check the usb cable and make sure it's interfaces are cleaned and cleared. You can try cleaning the terminals with a soft brush dipped in alcohol/acetone/spirit. Get/borrow another usb cable and try.

I hope you already know how to set up the connection: (only for reference)

Let me know if the problem persists.

Good luck.

Well, now try to update the drivers, first uninstall the currently installed hp drivers/softwares, after it's completed, restart your computer and follow this instructions to update and install the printer's drivers/software (click here), *Click the + sign to expand the tutorials. [Note: this option is available only in Windows 7]. Let me know if this doesn't fix.

Please try to print a test page from the Printing Preferences.

    Once again Good luck.

I'm trying to print an article from the computer and blank pages keep running through the printer non-stop.

Try canceling the print job, unplug the printer and plug it back in. Copy the article to a Word Doc. and print it from there.

I bought another deskjet 932c from e-bay to replace my old one. I have windows 98se which is not connected to the internet. When plugging in the 932c I just bought, a message comes stating that there is...

Try a self test disconnected from the computer by pressing the 2 left buttons for 4 seconds and then wait for about 15 seconds for a test page to begin. Some models were the right 2 buttons pressed for 4 seconds. If it self test ok then it is software or cable interface. Make sure you are using the same USB or parallel port as before or reset the printer properties to that port. Sometimes the printer dip switches have been messed with and your system will not see the printer properly.

  1. Reset your printer if you are having communication problems with the computer. To do so, press the "Power" button to turn off the printer. Wait a few seconds and then power it back on.
  2. Power off the printer again if you are still running into problems and disconnect the power cable from the AC power. Wait a few seconds and reconnect the power cable. Power on the printer. This simple procedure resets the printer back to the default factory settings. Move to the next step if the reset does not work.
  3. Disconnect the USB cable from the printer. Insert the printer software installation CD into the CD-ROM drive on your computer and wait for it to automatically launch. Click the Windows "Start" button if it does not launch and click "My Computer. Right-click the CD-ROM drive with the disk and click "Autoplay to run the CD.
  4. Select "Setup" on the CD and select "Remove HP DeskJet 932c. The printer software and drivers are removed from your computer.
  5. Reconnect the USB cable to the printer. The installation disc automatically recognizes it and begins reinstalling the software and drivers.
  6. Print a test sheet to verify that the printer is now working. You can print a test sheet using a word processing application (e.g. Microsoft Word) or using the Internet.

I have an Hp deskjet 932C and it is printing VERY slow (a page every 6 or 7 minutes). It is also printing only in blue. I have changed both the color and the black ink, and I don't know what to do. Can...

I use a small diameter silicone tube tocarefully "prime" stubborn new carts by sucking a drop of each color ink out ofthe tiny print holes in the printhead part of the cart. Ink can dry at the headand since these carts work by electrical excitation, there needs to be liquidof each color at the holes. Slap a drop of water with your finger on the holesto start easy hesitant ones. Do not get the contacts wet. Slow printing can be port sharing or software conflicts, so try switching ports or switch from serial LPT1 cable to USB.

It acts likes it's printing, but nothing is on the pages HP Deskjet 932c

Sounds like a defective ink cartridge. See if you have a separate print head you can replace if not sounds like a whole new cartridge.
Assuming you have checked the obvious darkness settings.

Nor printing

Test page is from 4 second 2 buttons press? Or from Windows print window? If you are LPT1 try a USB cable? Perhaps a port conflict or motherboard flaw.
