Hello,
I just purchased the Microsoft Laser wireless desktop 4000. It came with a Mouse and Keyboard, the mouse works just fine, but the Keyboard doesn't seem to work. The only buttons that work are the Alt, Start button (with the windows sign) and Alt. Nothing else works. Can you please help me with this problem. I have re-installed the drivers several times and got the most updated version from the Microsoft website. What should i do? help!

My keyboard sometimes misses key strokes. I also get the "Your wireless signal is weak would you like to open the troubleshooter?" When you open the troubleshooter the signal strength and battery charge is full.

Check the batteries inside the keyboard and replace them. If this does not solve the problem, return the mouse and keyboard for replacement.
