Question about Computers & Internet
First try and boot into safe mode by pressing F8 on windows boot, choose the safemode option at the top of the page, When you get to the logon screen you should have 2 accounts, the one you cant remember the password for and the other the hidden admin account, click on the admin account, as long as you dont have a pass word for this account it should enable you to access that account, goto control panel, switch to classic veiw and look for the user accounts icon click on that, you should see the other account there, click onto the other account icon and choose the remove the password, click ok at the bottem, exit out of the window and control panel and reboot the mechine and let it boot as normal, you should now go straight to your normal account without having to enter any password, once there goto the control panel, user accounts and add a new password if you desire.
If that option dosent work you could try downloading the trinity rescue disk, just do a google for it you should find it, download the iso file and burn the iso to a disk. Insert the disk into the drive and set the computer to boot from the cd-rom in boot menu press F12 or F11 when booting depending on whet bios you have, and choose the cd-rom to boot from. Once the trinity rescue disk has loaded you will be pressented with a command prompt, in the command prompt type WINPASS _U and then your account user name and press ENTER it will ask you if you want to reset type YES, when it asks for a new password leave blank and press ENTER, and confirm password once again leave blank and press Enter. take the disk out of the cd-rom and reboot the mechine as normal, and you should have no password, oonce again you can resset in the control panel if desired. hope this helps.
