Question about Tascam CD-450 CD Player
I have the same Tascam cd-450 with the same problem. I replaced the tray motors drive belt and it didn't fix the issue. I measured the voltage output to the motor after pushing the eject button and it was about 1.7 vdc with the tray motor plugged into the main board and about 2.5 vdc with the tray motor unplugged from the main board. I'm beginning to think that the rf-500tb-14415 motor is weak but I don't know the original main board output voltage spec for this motor. I do know that this motor is rated from 1.5 vdc to 9 vdc (3 vdc or 6 vdc nominal)depending on the application and torque requirement.
