according to published specs for these cars, the Honda civic's curb weight is 2,417 lbs (1,099 kilos) and the Kia Sephia's is 2,473 lbs (1,124). The difference? the Kia is heavier by about 55 lbs.
I'm afraid I can't tell you how to re-set your scales, but these days the UK is part of Europe, and like it or not, we all need to get used to thinking in kilos (and, for that matter, in metres instead of yards).
1 kilo = 2.2 lbs. So all you need to do is to take the kilo figure and multiply it by 2.2 to get your weight in lbs. So if, for example, your scales show 60 kilos, multiply that by 2.2 and you get 132 lbs.
well if u cant change it you can always calculate it 2.5 pounds=1 kilo so if you have 2 kilos it would be 5 pounds and if you have pounds and want to make it to kilos u take the pound amout and divide it by 2.5 so if i have 25 pounds that is 10 kilos
Press the scale once with your foot. All screen options should display to initialize and then go to 0.0. Now step on the scale. It should read out your correct weight. If not, first remove and replace the battery for reset. If still not, replace the battery. If still not it's ready for return or replacement. Hope it works! Dave - CA
