As listed in original post, the counters have already been reset. I need to clear the 0-02 service error code. Resetting the counter as you recommended does not fix this error code.

Have already tried turning machine in and off as well as unplugging the machine. How do you put the machine is SP mode before turning it off?

  • troyw856 Sep 28, 2010

Do you hold # while entering 107

  • troyw856 Sep 28, 2010

    Q1

Do you continue to press # while pressing start

    Q2

    How do you set PRINTER(01)

  • troyw856 Sep 29, 2010

You need to enter SP mode (User Tools, hold #, enter 1-0-7, then press Start). Then set the PRINTER[01] bit. Turn machine off, then on again. This assumes the fuser/roller is properly operating and you just accidentally cleared the error bit state by replacing it out of sequence

    Q2
    How do you set PRINTER(01)

Error 02-02H is a fuser error, and is either the heater lamp, fuse or thermistor, causing the "warm up error". This can only be reset by a needlessly over-complicated procedure in service mode once the trouble is fixed. Try this reset procedure as follows:--- To clear this error:--- Follow these steps

[User Tools] / [Key Op Tools] / [System Settings] / [#] / [Reset PM Counter] > select ADF Roller or Fusing Unit / [Reset] / [OK],.---------
in your case you select Fuser unit. ----------

Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation

Purchased new fusing unit for ricoh cl3500n; installed; tried to reset computer by holding escape for 5 seconds; does not clear out error message 'replace fusing unit' ; nothing will print; can not get to...

You need to enter service mode, (this really should be done by a ricoh tech) Turn off printer press and hold down online and escape and turn printer on, the panel should sho a 1 2 3, push 2 for engine and enter press 7 and enter 804 is the counters for supplies. #4 is the fuser press enter after the printer says execute. Back out with escape and 3 to exit, cycle power. -Carl

Ricoh fuser oil replace message

That is not a good idea. The oil is kept track of by counting pages, not by a sensor that measures the oil level. The oil runs out and the machine can't tell and now you have ruined the fuser. Which cost a lot more than the oil tank.

Ricoh Fax 3700L

Fuser error.....Either blown fuse, bad thermistor, or blown lamp. Problem needs to be repaired, and then a WAY over complicated reset procedure has to be performed in service mode to clear the error.

Service error 0544 on a Ricoh Fax 5510L

Hi there the error you have is that the fuser unit is lower than 130 degrees for 1 minute. Suggestion replace fuser unit turn power off the on. If problem still persists replace control board or power board.

Thanks Jason
