I cant adjust the color, brightness, and contrast on my Orion TV set model stv2763 I have no original remote to this set. Can the use of other remotes solve my problem as there are no buttons or dials on the tv itself to make these adjustments. Marty

if it cannot be adjusted then there is a problem in tv. as your green color is absent you will get red+blue=purple your problem is in green video ckt please check 1 sypply to green cathode ckt 2 loose contact in crt base 3 loose signal connector 4 check components related to green cathode& green video tr. itself 5 check for green signal is coming to green video section from processor. 6 signal processor ic if you are not tech person get it done by skilled tech. it is a common problem. it is a not a major problem. please check

my orion if you channel down below channel 2 it goes to aux.

Well....uh....duh....I'm sort of embarassed to say I had the TV set on High Def TV. (LOL) Once I put it back to Standard Def TV, I was able to adjust the color and so forth. Oh well, you never know, someone might need this solution. TA DA!

SOURCE: Convergence Problem and Contrast Adjustment

Have you checked all of the resistors inthe convergence circuit as well? If not, check them for the correct impedance.. Remember, you have to pull one side of the resistor out of circuit to measure it correctly. 
If all of the resistors are good, then you have to do a coarse convergence adjustment on the set through the service menu.. if you need the service manual for the convergence directions, I have one uploaded in the technicians corner of techlore.com
