Question about Bionaire Dryers

Open Question

I'm trying to fix a Bionaire BT90R floor standing fan. It has 4 non standard screws in the back that I've been unable to find a tool for removing them. It looks like a standard slot screw but it has a raised middle. Heres a bad sketch of what I'm looking at :/ Standard slot http://www.kerbain.com/images/standard.gif and what I've got http://www.kerbain.com/images/strange.gif Hope someone has an idea :)

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I downloaded the owners manual from www.usersmanualsite.com but did not see how to undo the grill. However if you go to http://www.holmesproducts.com/Fans.aspx (the fans official site) you should be able to ask them on what to do.

SOURCE: Dell monitor back removal

This can go one of 2 ways..very easy or very hard.
Having said that here we go.

  • Get a towel and lay it on a flat surface.
  • Remove the 4 screws from the stand and remove it.
  • looking from under the monitor you should see 2 small notches between the front and rear covers.
  • Carefully insert a flat blade screwdriver (not too far) into the hole and lift upwards. It should pop. Do the same on both sides.
  • Carefully pop it all the way around (without using anything but light pulling pressure.)
Hope that helps =)

SOURCE: tower fan 07586 parts (screws)

The M5 indicate it is a metric size and the 12 is the length. I had the same problem when I unpacked my fan and was able to buy two M5-16 screws from my local hardware stoe for 45 cents a piece. In case your asked, they have an 80 pitch.

SOURCE: grinding of fan

Hi,
There should be a black round nut in front of the blades in the very center. It will have ribs on it so you can grab it. Turn it Counter clockwise, and it should unscrew.
Then you can remove the blade assembly and get to the back cage to tighen the screws.
This should take care of the problem.
Re assemble in reverse order.
Let me know if you have any more questions or if this doesnt work.
Good luck.
Mac

I can't remove the stand off the tv

Hi, i have instruction on removing your base stand.

Removing the Pedestal Stand
1) Carefully lay the front of the unit face down on a flat,
cushioned surface such as a quilt or blanket. Leave the stand
protruding over the edge of the surface.
Note: Extreme care should always be used when removing
the pedestal stand to avoid damage to the LCD panel.
2) Remove the jack pack cover on the back of the TV to expose
the pedestal stand screws. The jack pack cover can be removed
without tools.
3) Remove the four screws shown in the diagram below. This will
allow removal of the pedestal stand.
4) Once you have removed all four screws holding the pedestal
stand in place, remove the pedestal stand from the TV by
sliding the pedestal stand away from the TV.

Where is the resistor for the heater blower located on my 2000 Pontiac Sunfire 2.2L ?

Replacing the blower motor resistor on a 2000 Pontiac Sunfire is a bugger of a job!.This project is far easier if you remove the blower fan first. You may be able to do it leaving the fan in, but you have to be an elf with very good eyesight. Tools required: 1/4" driver with a universal and a short 5.5 mm or 7/32" socket. First remove the wiring harness and the visible screw. Here's the tricky part! The rear screw is out of sight, and you have to push the floor liner down to get the socket attached. Once you get the 2nd screw out, simply remove and replace with the new one, reinstall the fan motor and your back in business. Hint: If you are not agile, or you are a large person, remove the front passenger seat. It's only 4 nuts and it will save your back. Good luck and hope this helps, keep me posted be glad to help.

Removing the stand

Check to see if you got all the screws, usually there are 4-6 screws holding the stand in the TV. The are usually all on the center bottom on the back. When the TV is on the floor, try lifting with two people, one on each side directly up evenly. The stand should stay on the floor as the TV is removed.

Lasko 2535

Lasko 52" tower fan, model 2535, works fine but has the annoying loud 3 second beeeep when turned on/off, waking us up at night. Have been unable to get at the circuit board to investigate due to non-std screws (regular slot head but with a bump in middle of slot, so slot is filled in in middle of screw head, if you will)
Any thoughts on killing the beeeeping?
