Question about Rio Carbon MP3 Player
Hi there! I've had my Rio Carbon for many years and absolutely love the thing to death. It's had its share of problems, but I've always been able to fix them up until now. The Rio has been stuck on "finalizing" for the last few days. I've googled to try and find a solution, but can't find anything that will help (one suggestion was to use Norton Anti-Virus, but I don't have that on my computer). I'm able to add tracks/delete tracks when it's plugged into the computer, but each time it's unplugged and ready to use, it hits that finalizing problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
I had this happen on one and found that it was just too full. I reset it and then hooked it up via USB port and went into Windows Explorer and erased some files, quite a few, and then it was able to finalize and has worked fine since. It was only about half full so I don't know what its problem was, but since it worked, what the heck.
