I have a Samsung French Door with ice maker in fridge, and freezer on bottom. Water-- lots of it-- collects under the meat drawer and will leak out onto the floor. Why and how to fix it?

Richard, sounds like the drain plug/ hole is plugged.

Is this the Samsung 4-door fridge/freezer with a round water-filter between the two drawers in the Refrigerator? a) Is your water-filter correctly installed in it's place? b) check where the water-drops are coming from: it could be the ice-maker - need to call Samsung service.
Yes most responses are the freezer drain even if it is in the bottom freezer. If the drain is blocked water will build up anywhere inside your refrigerator only because it has no place to go during the defrost. Defective door seals can also can make the problem much worse. If it is a frost free unit the water collects in a well at the compressor , there is a heater element in the well that boils off the water , this is were the fault is.
I have the same problem!!! We need a class action lawsuit against Samsung for this problem on their French Door fridge. Instead of fixing it they want the consumer to pay for repair. NO MORE SAMSUNG PRODUCTS FOR ME!!!!!
go back to your sales people this is under warranty and it's propably a system problem . don't void warranty . // hold on i thought the sysem had failed . ice maker must be 15 deg or lower . to work ... close the drawer and give it 24 and see what it will do . but it is still under mfg warranty . **** ..
