Disconnect from power source. Wait for a few minutes for the device to reset. Switch it on and put the DVD ROM inside and enter your destination. Once calculated, remove the DVD and check for functionality.

If you still have the same issues, the device is probably defective and its best to take in in for servicing or replacement if under warranty.

Hope that helps! Should you have any further questions, please post them here.

How do i by pass parking brake wire for indash dvd jensen vm9312 i'm puting it in old car no p.b.

Hi jason
To answer your question;
You do not need to connect that wire but you need to bypass the parking brake function in the menu.
Here`s the parking brake bypass procedure:
1: Go into AM/FM mode
2: Hit "setup" on the remote control

3: Enter 543210 on the remote, listening for the beep for each number
entered
4: A new menu will appear. Touch the button that has the hammer/screwdriver on it in the upper left-hand part of the screen.

5: Select Brake bypass to "ON" and hit the "X" near the bottom of the screen.

6: Use the unit wisely and above all safely. A ticket is one thing, causing a fatal accident due to negligence is another.

Hope this help Cheers

Go into the second menu by pressing and holding the volume control for 2 seconds. The last option in the menu says
"Parking". Turn this to off and you'll be good to go.

Have you tried going into the menu and searching for this function? Also some car stereo's have a sub menu when the radio is turned off or in stanby mode it usually can be reached by pushing your menu button and holding for a few seconds also again the power has to be in standby mode. if this works look through menu for your problem.

Need to reset owner ID on a panasonic tx-32lxd

Service Mode Function
MPU controls the functions switching for each IICs through IIC bus in this chassis. The following setting and adjustment can
be adjusted by remote control in Service Menu
How to enter SERVICE
In main menu, move to choose sound menu, set BASS to MAXIMUM, and set TREBLE to MINIMUM.
Simultaneously press " i " button on remote control and DOWN button (-/v) on the TV set.

Exit with off switch on tv.
When you next switch on TV it is as brand new giving you the option of setting pin number and user ID.

AVIC-Z1 options just quit

It actually sounds like you don't have your parking break wire (light green wire on wireing harness) grounded. I have an 06 F150 and the same thing happened to me when I instaled it. I had no address search and some other functions didn't work as well. Try to locate the light green wire and ground that to anything metal. Hope this helps, the install manual isn't very good at describing this.

Bluetooth Icon not working

I had the same problem with my nokia n80.

The solution i found is:

with the remote go to bluetooth phone. then on the remoete av menu. now you can select bluetooth as it's not grey anymore. i would advise search device with a new pin and not the standard 0000.

Good luck.

Let me know if it worked. It did for me. (eu model)
