Your setting is too low to accomodate the colors of a video. You need to change your resolution to 1024 min. Right click on the desktop with your mouse away from the ICON's and choose properties. Change the display settings to a higher number and save your choice. Then try the video in full screen mode again and advise if this solves your problem?

I would check for updates for you Java and you Adobe Flash Player. This could easily prevent you from seeing content that requires updated software. It is free from each of the sites.

Just did the most recent update on my ps3 and now all I have is a black screen. I have restarted several times and the main screen will momentarily flash but then goes to black.

This may work. When the system is off press and hold the power button you will hear a beep keep holding you hear another beep then release the power button. That will reset the video settings which should return your picture ..

If not call 800-345-SONY

They may have other steps to correct the problem

Hi
The problem with your PC Notebook has to do with the screen.Since you can hear the sound then your screen might be damaged maybe mistakenly.
You just have to get to the right store and replace the screen so your notebook can work perfectly.

Monitor comes on only at the welcome screen

Sounds like a video card issue. But just to rule it out, try plugging the computer into a different monitor.

If it shows video, then it has something to do with your current monitor.

If it gives you the same problem, I would reseat the video card (if it's not embedded).

As a last ditch option, you could reset the bios on the motherboard via a reset button or pins.

Screen Wiggles, CPU Shuts Self Off, Powers Up Very Slowly

Hmm... Any errors on the screen?

Could be a power supply. Fluctuations in that can cause power drops, which would be visible in the video card, and if severe enough, cause the PC to shut off. There are 4 screws and one 1 wire holding those in. It would take about 10 minutes to replace and probably cost you $40-$50 in parts.

To have Geeks do it: Probably $100.
