Go into the menu and find "format"(might be called "initialize")...follow the on-screen instructions.

How do i install a 64gb compact flash card i my sony a55 camera

The a55 doesn't use Compact Flash cards. It uses Memory Stick PRO Duo and SD/SDHC cards. SDHC cards max out at 32GB. Larger SDXC cards will not work in the a55.

Card not initalized

Is the card larger than 2GB.
If so its too big for the S7000.
The only solution to more capacity is 2GB xd card + 2GB compact flash card.
Or just use as many XD cards as you need.

Instead of connecting via the camera, just use a USB card reader and put the CF card in that.

SanDisk Ultra 11 CompactFlash Card 4Gb says "Card not Initalized"

You may need to format the card. There should be a Format command in the Setup menu. To be more specific, one would need to know which model of Finepix camera you refer to.

Wat is toshiba flash card

"FLASH" generally denotes a compact storage device called
Compact Flash Card. I have an old digital camera that takes compact flash cards.

Newer Toshiba Laptops and Towers have multi card readers installed, my laptop has a SD card reader under my PCMCIA card slot. I also had a (Made for Toshiba) compact flash adapter. That device was nice because it wasn't "Card Bus" it used 8-16 bit technology making it easy to transfer data from a laptop running windows 3.1 to a laptop running Vista

Compact Flash Problems

Dynamite,
have you tried to reformat the CF card?  If you deleted the image through your computer and not with the camera, the computer may have removed more than what was needed...
