Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
I was playing Tiger Woods 07 (which has been fine for the last few months) and all of a sudden, the game froze at the end of a hole. I've turned the system off and on, as well as performed a ps3 reformat, to no avail.
Normally when I put in a game it begins right away . . . now, the ps3 doesn't show the disc icon, so i have no way to play the game.
Sounds like a faulty/dirty/bad laser. Call sony 1-800-345-SONY (7669)
ask them what they can do! Normally its at least 168$ charge to get your ps3 back in order unless you are willing to open it up yourself.. if so let me know I can help you find parts and help you fix it.. parts are not to expensive but in the long run it may be better to either sell it as broke or send it in!
I do buy broken ps3's and can get you a deal on used or new systems!
