If ur screen remains white or gets white than it could be display connectivity cables fault or if it is broken than it is the displays fault and it can be repaired at Nokia Care

I'm looking for some self repair info on how to change my screen on my 6133 nokia.

Hello,

To repair the screen of your nokia 6133, you need to get the appropriate screwdriver and Plastic tool such as a credit card or guitar plectrum, and follow the steps below;
  1. Run your plastic tool all the way around the join of the cover on the front of the phone to release it.
  2. You should now have the cover removed. Next you need to disconnect two ribbon connectors. These attach like a plug and socket. Simply lift each connector up, away from the circuit board, to unplug it.
  3. Another ribbon connector needs to be disconnected. Again, this is a plug/socket type connection. The green circuit board will now be loose.
  4. Lever the LCD out at the four points,
  5. You should now have the LCD screen removed.
  6. You can now replace your screen and,
  7. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly.
Take care

Nokia 6133 blank screens and no loudspeaker

I have the same problem two weeks ago. I opened my phone and kept it under the table lamp to dry off some moisture and my screen came back and working good.

Also tried to reset it by taking out Sim card press *3 send button together when turn on the phone ,it will take a while ,but it will reset the phone and will ask for the sim card info.

It fixed my problem ,so hope no harm to try that.

Thanks

Lcd screen replacement

On the front side of the phone above the camera eye you can carefully (either with your fingernail or a small screwdriver) pry the plastic apart. Once you have the top apart a little bit work your way down each side, once the top and sides are loose you can slide the cover up and off. Once open ther will be a green board around and over the lcd, remove two small connectors on the top and one small one on the bottom underneath the board. When the green board is off look on the sides of the LCD and you will see four points securing it into the phone, carefully pry out on each of these and you can then remove the LCD. Replacement is reverse. Good luck.
