Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
Flat vs Vertical causing tray to stick is just a mater
of offset loading in the sled and or gravity assist
during the eject sequence.
First I have repaired many 100's of 360's and I have noticed
when they are played vertical the Heat sink compound
will literally seep away from the G.P.U.- and C.P.U. so
I always recommend you play them Horizontal ( flat)
As for the stuck tray this is caused by a weak eject motor
and or grime build up in the gear train causing friction
witch prevent the motor from breaking open the magnetic
seal to the spindle. My simple remedy is to gap the hold
down magnetic in the hub so the motor can break the seal
with less force .
