Take the power-adapter and the computer to a qualified technician, because it needs more "expert" trouble-shooting than you can provide.

How to Resolve No Sound on Windows Computer?

Ensure that you aren't muted. The Windows Sound icon is small, and it can be tough to see if you are muted or not. Click the Sound icon in the System Tray and then click the Speaker button in the pop-up that appears to toggle the mute
  • If you don't have a sound icon, then your sound drivers are likely not installed correctly.

Inspect the speaker or headphone connection to the computer. A bad connection is one of the most common causes of no sound, and is also one of the easiest to fix. Make sure that your speakers or headphones are plugged in completely, and that the cables and connectors aren't damaged.

Ensure that your speakers are connected to the right port. Make sure that your speakers are plugged into the correct port on the back of your computer. The green port is most commonly used for external speakers, while the orange and black ports are used for surround sound systems and subwoofers. The pink port is for microphones.

Make sure your speakers are powered and turned on. Many speakers require a power connection, and may need to be turned on in order to work. Check the volume controls on the speakers as well to make sure that they're turned up enough to hear.

Reconnect your HDMI cable. A common problem for HDMI users is that no sound comes out of the speakers that the HDMI cable is connected to. A simple fix for this is to unplug and then replug the HDMI cable, which should switch the default playback device to the HDMI device.

How do you tell if the starter has gone out?

Well....the car doesn't start. If you turn the key and you only hear a click, click, click it is the most common sign it is out. If you try to start and it sounds like a high pitched spinning then it could be out or you could have a bald spot on your fly wheel. That is a more expensive problem

2 flashes wont light

SOUNDS LIKE A PRESSURE SWITCH MALFUNCTION OR A OBSTRUCTED FLUE EXHAUST. 2 FLASHES MEANS YOU ARE IN SYSTEM LOCKOUT. ATTEMPT TO START 3 TIMES THEN IN LOCKOUT MODE RIGHT? YOU WILL NEED TO TURN OFF AT T-STAT OR BREAKER TO RE-SET UNIT, OR WAIT 60 MINUTES & IT WILL DO IT AUTOMATICALLY. WHEN IT CALLS FOR HEAT THE DRAFT INDUCER MOTOR WILL COME ON, THIS WILL CREATE A VACCUM THAT OPENS THE PRESSURE SWITCH PROVING DRAFT INDUCER IS VENTING, THE VACCUM CREATED CAUSES THE PRESSURE SWITCH TO OPEN PROVIDING POWER TO THE IGNITION CONTROL. THIS IS WHERE YOUR PROBLEM IS ACCORDING TO YOUR DISCRIPTION. TRY TO DISCONNECT VACCUM LINE FROM DRAFT INDUCER MOTOR & SUCK ON IT WHILE LISTENING FOR A CLICKING SOUND AT PRESSURE SWITCH. IF YOU DON\'T HEAR THE CLICKING SOUND WHEN YOU DO THIS, THEN YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE PRESSURE SWITCH. IF YOU DO HEAR THE CLICKING SOUND THE PROBLEM IS WITH AN OBSTRUCTION IN THE FLUE VENTING. THIS IS SOMETIMES CAUSED BY DEBRIS GETTING LODGED IN THE PORT AT INDUCER MOTOR WHERE THE VACCUM LINE FROM PRESSURE SWITCH IS CONNECTED. TRY TO CLEAR OBSTRUCTION WITH COMPRESSED AIR OR A WIRE HANGER. THIS SHOULD FIX YOUR PROBLEM. GOOD LUCK. HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL.

TV won't turn on. I hear a clicking noise near the power supply. I have no picture or sound

This is usually and most likely caused by the power inverter/board. There are capacitors and other components that can burn out and will cause the power not to be transfered correctly

Im trying to hook up my radio to a 93 ford mustang and ive got power and i got the speakers hooked up right but i dont have any sound

Is the radio powering up?
Have you tested the continuity to the speakers (disconnect speakers and use multimeter on low ohms across speaker wires, you might also hear a crackle if speakers are ok)?
If you dont have a meter use a small preferrably used battery (take one out of the tv remote) and dab across the speaker wires briefly, you should hear a click from the speaker.Make sure the speaker is disconnected from the radio when you do this!
Have you connected the ground?
Did the the radio ever work?
Have you connected the antenna?
have you tried any old small speaker hooked up to the radio output?
Ahhh questions questions....

Vehicle will click but not start, tried juming still clicks , only 10000 original milesany suggestions

Assuming your battery is properly charged and has a good connection, it's your starter solenoid (relay) that has failed.

The starter solenoid receives a large electric current from the car battery and a small electric current from the ignition switch. When the ignition switch is turned on, a small electric current is sent to the starter solenoid. This causes the starter solenoid to close a pair of heavy contacts, thus relaying a large electric current to the starter motor, which in turn sets the engine in motion.

If a starter solenoid receives insufficient power from the battery, it will fail to start the motor, and may produce a rapid clicking or clacking sound. The lack of power can be caused by a low or dead battery, by corroded or loose connections in the battery cable, or by a damaged positive (red) cable from the battery. Any of these problems will result in some, but not enough, power being sent to the solenoid, which means that the solenoid will simply make a clicking sound, rather than setting the starter motor in motion.

If these items are all okay, it is likely you need to replace the solenoid.

When I try to turn on my Samsung LN-T4042H LCD HDTV it is now constantly clicking in a continuous loop and will not immediately turn on. It started out small- a few clicks yesterday morning. Today it...

There is a problem with the power supply in your TV. The regulator switch is causing teh clicking sound you hear. In order to fix it, you will need to replace the power supply. This is done by taking off the back cover of the TV, locating the power supply which is usually a yellow board that will have many high voltage capicators on it and replacing it with a new one.

Not firing. usually clicking sound until gas fires up.

If the unit has power, then not likely a bad breaker. The clicking sound you hear is the spark ignitor lighting the pilot. If you no longer hear this noise, the most likely cause is the spark control box, about 3 inches wide, 6 inches tall with wires connected to it.
If you provide the model number of the heater, I can send you a troubleshooting chart to determine if the spark control is bad or possibly a themostat or internal safety.

Won't start lights dim and then brighten

Did you try to boost battery? Sounds like low charge. Check battery terminals for tight and clean as well as groung connection at body and power connection at starter for clean. If battery OK test for power on starter wires. Large wire will have contant battery power small wire will have battery power when key is in crank position. If power ok on both it will probably need a starter. Hope this helps...Good Luck.

Powering on Hitachi TV

If all you hear is a click and you get no display on the screen, it sounds as though you need a repairman to come out and fix the circuit board. There are several things that cause this symptom on your set but the most common are convergenge amp failure, vertical, or power supply issues. Sometimes as simple as resoldering connections. Other times major troubleshooting and part replacement are required. The repair cost is usually between 175.00 and 375.00 hope you have a trustworthy and knowledgable repair person, good luck, Russmann.
