If there are no issues of fault on the dryer then there is no immediate concern but the warm board can be because the power supply is on and the regulator and supply components are heating up.
If there is no malfunction and it is only warm, then ignore the whole issue.

But.... Why should anything be powered up if the last cycle has completed. Heat means power consumption, and I don`t want to waste elect. plus I am concerned with the potential of fire seeing that the gas line runs right behind the panel.

Sounds like a bad motherboard and probley need control board. You can put in self dianoss. Press all the buttons on panel for 5 seconds. This will start the program. It will check all sensors. Come back with codes and I will help you. Wait to hear from you. I hopes this helps. david_gra582

Built in oven front panel gets too hot

No. There should be a fan that runs and blows cool air from a gap at the top of the door and over the controls.

Water spilled down the stove top causing the oven

ater spilled (4-5 cups) on the stove top running down into the stove control panel face (where you view oven temp, timer, etc). No water ever dripped into the oven or oven window. The stove top still works but the oven, warming drawer, clock are all non responsive after three days. No buttons on the control panel work at all. What repair is needed?

The fan is running and blowing air but the inside is at 52degrees. I unplugged the unit for a half hour and then plugged it back in to see if this workes. So far no luck . any ideas?

With unit running,
There are two areas to look at, the back behind the removable panel to see iif the compressor is running(you can put your hand on it, it should be warm to very warm) If it is cold you have a electrical control problem, thermostat or control board on the newer stuff, If the compressor is running you may have a freon leak or other sealed system problem.
If the back of the freezer panel on the inside was snowed up you have a defrost problem. Don't know if this helps much, but it is in general what needs to be looked at........
