This is a possible failure of the power supply and you can check this out with these tips:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r5826301-working_switch_mode_power_supplies

If the SMPS is good then the battery might be badd and not getting charged. If both the battery and power is ok, then the motherboard has errors, the memory is bad, the bios back up battery is bad.

Dyson DC 25. The roller brush will not engage. What can I do.

It may need a new belt, a new power nozzle motor or the whole nozzle housing needs replaced. It also could be the power nozzle is not getting power from the vacuum which could be a short or bad switch. There are many areas that one or more could be causing the problem. First determine if the problem is in the power nozzle itself or the vacuum then eliminate the possible causes one at a time until you determine the cause. It's much more difficult to find the cause if there is more than one issue causing the problem.

Hp slimline s 3000 wont start green light for ps goes off when start button pushed

You seem to have eliminated the PSU as a cause of the problem.

It might be that there is short circuit somewhere in your case, possibly one between the m/b and the case. This could cause your PSU to shut down (if it has s/c protection). Holding the power button for more than a few seconds would cause a power down (mine is power on when the button is pressed, but pressing again/continuing to press for 5s causes power down: to power down, the power button must be pressed for the 5s - to prevent accidentally pressing the power button from switching your machine off by touching the power button).
If this is the cause, probably the only way to solve it is to remove the m/b from the case and clean out the case and the m/b, the latter with canned air perhaps. (you should inspect the surface of the m/b for objects which might be causing such a s/c, but most likely any object has become lodged behind the m/b. Some computers allow removal of both side panels) Be careful during re-assembly because some m/b-cases require (either insulating or conducting) spacers/stand-offs between the m/b and mounting points in the case.
Of course, there may be another cause...

My Maytag Neptune Dryer stopped running & is

as per heatman The most common cause of your appliance giving you the PF error code is a problem with the power coming in from your utility company. Of course if there is an interruption of power, and then the power comes back on you will get the PF code Loose wires going to the circuit board or the control can also be a cause of the error code. If a wire terminal end happens to get corroded or loose, the vibration from the machine can cause slight power problems and this can cause the PF code to be displayed. Finding the cause of this type of problem is like finding a needle in a haystack. Sometimes you can cause it to be displayed by banging on the side of the appliance or slightly moving the wiring harness, to see if you can get the error code to display.

The bottom line about this power failure error code, is that it is power related. Finding the exact cause can be difficult. If you are continually having to reset the appliance then check to see if all of your appliances are giving the same code. This will indicate utility power problems. If only one appliance is giving the PF code then it is probably internal to the appliance.

Oven resets (like power failure) frequently - either while pressing buttons or while cooking food. Approx 5 yrs old - problem just started.

Hi.

The following parts may cause this problem and must be tested:

Control Pad: This is most likely the problem , testing the contol pad is quite complicate.

Door lock: A defective door lock can cause the magnetron and turntable motor being turn off erratically. This wont cause the program to reset.

Power cord and power connection solder joints: this can cause a microwave restarting because vibration caused by the oven working cause power interruption.

A bad shielding to controller board can also cause the microwave resetting because of the interference caused by magnetron on control board circuits. This is also quite common.

The control pad or control board are the parts that are most commonly causing this problem.

Kenmore F-01 error

Hi there,

The F01 fault code is indicating an EEPROM error or a PUMP DRIVER error. A communication error between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the EEPROM on board the CCU occurred.

Possible causes of an EEPROM error:
A power glitch may have caused this error. Unplug the power cord for 3 minutes then reconnect power.

Possible causes of PUMP DRIVER error:
The pump driver fails to activate. Replace the the CCU board.

Most likely the CCU board will need to be replaced.

Good Luck!!

Thanks
