I already earned an expert badge with 84.56% rating. Why is it that I can't still apply to become premium?

    An expert who has achieved level 3 by getting 1000 points

    Superstar:

    An expert that got 20 achievements.

    All-Star:

    An expert that got 10 achievements.

    MVP:

    An expert that got 5 achievements.

How to earn more score and what is score how do u earn it


Each question or problem posted on FixYa earns the person who provides a solution from 1 to 3 points. Based on the time in which a question receives an answer and the level of the expert who answered it, a different amount of points are awarded.

The Expert Leaderboard displays the Top Ten Experts of the current week. This competition runs from midnight on Monday to midnight on Sunday GMT.
Experts are ranked based upon their score. An Expert's score is simply the number of points he has earned that week. Points are earned by solving problems, receiving positive ratings, and answering questions in a timely manner to earn 3 point solutions.
The ten Experts with the highest score that week will be shown on the leaderboard. The Expert with the highest score that week will earn a Top Expert achievement badge to wear on their profile.

How to earn/get money on/from fixya


In order to earn money on FixYa, you must become a Premium Expert. For information on how to apply, please view this Tip.

Once you have been approved as a Premium Expert, you will notice some changes on your My Expertisepage. First, there will be a banner regarding your preferred method of payment. Click on this banner and select how you would like to be paid. There will also be a module on the upper right of your My Expertise page called My Live Chat Status, as well as a link to your Account Statements.

Answering Chats
If you would like to do a Live Chat, where you assist the customer using an IM system, check the "Available" option on your My Live Chat Status module. Then, as long as you are on FixYa, you will receive a pop up to alert you to any available Chats in your Areas of Expertise. Please make sure you have enough time to do a Chat (up to an hour or more) and that you only assist one customer at a time.

Answering Premium Questions
Premiums can be found at the top of your My Expertise page with buttons marked $3, $4, and $6. Please view this Tip to see more info about Premiums.

Keeping track of your earnings

If your Premium Solution or Live Chat Assistance is "Accepted" by the customer, you will be credited the amount on the button (for Premiums) or between $6-$10 (for Live Chats). You can keep track of all the Premiums/Live Chats you have done by clicking on "Account Statements" (also referred to as your Ledger). One note about that- if something older than 7 days is still marked as Pending, then it has Auto Closed and another Expert received credit.

Getting paid
At the end of each month, FixYa audits Experts' accounts. If you have earned $50 or more, your account begins processing. For more info about FixYa's payment policies and schedule, please view the Experts' FAQ section on payments.

Hello how to get fixya expert ? now I have 9 votes and 81% and I'm can't get it please help


Hi Mr-brain. You actually are already considered an Expert, as are all the people who have answered a question on FixYa. I believe that you are actually asking about becoming a Premium Expert, which would enable you to access our paid system and earn money by providing support.

In order to become a Premium Expert, you must be approved by the staff. I see that you have already applied. Here is some information to help you while you are waiting for your application to be processed:

Hi there,

To begin earning money using FixYa, you need to sign up and begin answering questions. You need to advance to a Premium Expert to start earning money so you can solve questions.

To sign up, go to the fixya.com website and click the link on the right hand side of that screen that says: 'Become and expert'. You can then sign up and begin answering questions.

Earn a Category Expert Badge. You can track your progress by expanding the "Earn More Badges" section on the right of your My FixYa page. How do i Gain a BRAND EXPERTISE?


To become a brand expert on Fixya, you need to answer questions related to the brand you would like to be an expert in.

For each answer you will earn a point for that brand. After 100 points you will become a brand expert. In addition 300 points and you can become a category expert. You can view your progress by signing in and checking the dashboard on the right side of the page.

How can you take phone calls for fixya?


Hi 03mazda6, welcome to Fixya! Glad to hear that you're interested in providing Premium Phone Support. In order to apply to provide Phone Support, you must first earn at least one Category Expert Badge. You do that by answering at least 50 free, unsolved problems in a given category, receiving at least 5 ratings on those solutions, and maintaining at least an 80% average asker rating on those solutions. There's a module on the right of your Answer Questions page that will help you track your progress towards new Badges. Category Expert Badges you've earned will appear at the top of that module, as well as on the left of your My Profile page. Once you have earned a Category Expertise Badge, you will be able to apply to provide Phone Support via the banner advertising it on your Answer Questions page. You will need a US phone number to apply. FixYa is currently doing a major overhaul on Phone Support, to introduce some key features our Experts requested. While we're working on these changes, we will not be doing Phone Support interviews or approving new Experts. However, as soon as the changes are complete, hopefully within the month, we will immediately start approving new Experts for the system. I have guru ranking in FixYa. Tell me whats the need of ranking and do i earn something by increasing rankings


If you maintain a rating of 85% or more and are a wiz or guru then you are able to earn money.
You must also answer 30 free questions a month to qualify
