Question about Sony Grand WEGA KF42WE610 42" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
You answered someone else's question saying "Did you get a 5 error on the led? If so that is caused when both pin 95 and 96 of IC6902 on the G2 board are both low. You will need a new G2 board." I've downloaded the repair manual and there is no G2 board only G1 or G3. I couldn't find the IC6902 either. Please clarify the replacement process if I'm missing something. Thank you.
That was for a different model sony have different codes for different Chassis if your model is KF42WE610 an error code of 5 blinks is a lamp error.
Lamp driver error 5 times - Lamp driver is faulty. No sound or picture will be the symptom. Replace lamp driver.
