I have a new quinny zapp xtra pushchair the instructions are not very clear it has been put together and the seat frame does not seem to lock into place. i think the cogs 1,2 have been mixed up so instead...

Good Morning

We have been advised that probing with lolly sticks is one way customers have successfully parted sections 1&2 when they have got stuck together.

Other than that our recommendation is to return to the retailer with proof of purchase and ask them to see if they can help, and if not they will send back for our engineers to do.

Hold can i fold down my quinny buzz

Find the grey buttons on the centre of the frame either side at the bottom of the handle (the bit where your carseat/pushchair seat unit fits to the frame), you will find that one pushes in whilst the other pushes in and moves forward. Now stand in front of the pushchair with the front wheel against your foot, push in the left hand grey button whilst pushing in and pulling forward the right hand grey button, now pull the frame towards you and down to the ground. It should start to move, if not release the buttons and try pressing/pulling them again until it does. Look on u tube if you are still having problems - or go to Mothercare and ask them to demonstrate on their store one.

How to I collase a quinny speedi sx pushchair

f the dreami carrycot or the maxi cosi car seat are attached, these will have to be removed first. Apply parking brake Release the handle bars by unclasping the silver clips on the frame. Push down handlebar to lowest height as you press in the silver button under the quinny logo on the very top of the handlebar( in the middle of the foam padding) with a downward thrusting motion. The chassis should then collapse for storing. To unfold then release the transport clip on the left hand side with the red sticker on it and unfold upwards adjust handlebar to required height and lock by closing the silver clasps either side of the frame. If you want me to do a pic/video demo let me know. HTH

How do you remove the quinny zapp 3 cover from the frame so I can attach the Maxi Cosi car seat?

Hi, it is a pain, but basically there are two black blocks near the feet area slide these out first, half fold the pushchair down (the handles down to the feet) and then slide the covers down and then shimmy the covers off, the covers basically have rods sewn into the sides that slide onto a groove on the frame.

My buggy is a quinny zapp i dont know how to fold it down to fit in its bag as its second hand could you please tell me how?

First make sure the brake is on. There are two round Grey buttons, one on either side of the frame (about halfway down) they should have a small red triangular numbered sticker above them (1 & 2) Stand behind the pushchair where the handles are and press the left one in (that's number 1) and gently fold the frame a bit but not too much! Do the same with the right one (number 2) when the frame starts to fold in bend the bar down that sits between the handles and place your foot on the Grey pedal located at the bottom of the frame in between the brakes (number 3) and slide it towards the front of the pushchair, as you do this the whole frame should close up.

Main frame and worn wheels of the quinny buzz

This happened to my wife the other day, I found that the main pivot bolt had pulled through the plastic pivot/collapse assembly. This part is rivoted to the frame so without drilling it out and replacing with an ugly nut and bolt you will have to source a new frame. I got mine from Ebay, I found someone selling lots of quinny buzz bits and asked if he still has the frame he said yes but the handle bar no longer extends (Hence im on here looking how to swap the two), Problem solved!

I also found out from Quinny that the Buzz has a 2 year manufacturers warranty, where Motercare insisted it was 1 year, so dont let them fob you off.
Hope this helps
Chris.

Forward and Backward facing Quinny freestyle 3xl

I have spoken to the friend who has the freestyle 3XL, and has her pushchair facing backwards (not the car seat, but the actual pushchair). It seems it depends on what age model you have. On mine (sadly) I cannot turn the seat around. However, on the ones which can be adjusted (possibly the newer models - mine was 2nd hand), look under the foot rest. If yours can be adapted, there should be a lever under there which enables you to turn the frame around. If there isn't a lever then it's probably not one that can be swapped.

Hope this is helpful and that yours is one of the models that can be altered!
