Question about Kogi L9CH 19" Flat Panel LCD Monitor

Open Question

Hi, my PC screen has moved to the right by approx 2 inches, there is a faint grey line which marks the boundary and my mouse can advance no further than this, I have tried all resolutions that my monitor (HP w19) will except and have tried to move the screen via the monitor menu button, all to no avail, I have updated the graphics and monitor drivers and have rolled them back too, still no joy! I was playing Simcity when it happened and have since uninstalled it but again no joy, please please help

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Monitor Display Offset

Hi HarryH, Sounds like the web cam software may have changed a .dll or some other system file that the video chip is using. I would try uninstalling any software from the cam and removing and reinstalling the video drivers. Have your windows CD or the CD that came with the PC handy we might need it. Open Device Manager Control Panel > System > (or hit Windows key + Break key) and if you're using XP switch to the Hardware tab and click Device Manager. Double click Display Adapters. Right click the video adapter listed and click Uninstall. Click yes you're sure to whatever warning message comes up. Now reboot your PC. Windows should auto-detect the video and re-install the correct drivers. There IS a possibility that the first re-install could use the same bad files...so if while re-installing you DON'T get asked for the windows CD and you still have the problem after rebooting, go to the manufacturers web site and download the drivers for your system and force windows to install those files. If you don't know how and it comes down to needing to try that let me know I'll walk you through. Please come back here and comment this post, some people have been missing the "Add a comment" link at the bottom of the post. Starting a new thread to answer an Experts questions makes it hard on the prople trying to help. :) Let me know how it goes, Dude

SOURCE: Problems After Power Outage

Sounds like the power outage damaged the video interface could be damaged. You might have had a spike that effected the red input of the monitor. You can try to order a video interface, or like I suggest to others, look for the same monitor but broken on ebay and swap out the interface board. Chances are this will fix your problem. Good luck

Hi, my syncmaster p2270 seems to have some kind of focus issue. Everything is sharp, but to the right of the visuals on screen there is a duplicate, reflection of whatever is being displated on screen....

Hi Jonhy, on the pc , try this steps:
1. At the mainscreen mouse rigth click and go to Properties
2. Go to Definitions and Advanced
3. A window with graphic board's properties will come up and the choose 3D setup/config (depending on graphic board mark)
4. Change from Direct 3D to OpenGL and then Apply and OK to close.

This procedure is to change from hardware aceleration to software aceleration of image on screen. As that it will be sent only one kind of image definition from the pc to the screen with no repeating or mirrowed data. Hope it will helps you.

I cannot place the cd tray into the printer to print a cd..Canon ip3000.

Hi, I have fixed my problem by sheer perseverance and obstinacy...
Every time I tried to print a dvd label it came up as an error...the arrow indicator marks on the type "B" caddy were not in the right place...
by centering the caddy into the printer tray about 1cm...approx 1/2 inch deeper then the arrow marks, the printer worked fine...this is a bad mistake by Canon...as they repeatedly state not to push the tray further then the marks...
all is well that ends well...
cheers

No picture on tv

Move your mouse over to a empty part of the desktop and press the right mouse button. Select properties.

Make sure that your tv is connected to the computer, that it is turned on, and that it is set for line input on that device.

Select the settings tab. You should see this box appear.

f931159.jpg
Monitor one is your computer monitor. Monitor 2 is your tv. It should be greyed out. If you move the mouse over to 2 and press the right mouse button make sure the attached is checked off. If not do this right now.

You may have to click on monitor two as well and select the advanced button on this screen. Then look in the settings to turn the tv on (this happens with ATI cards, NVidia cards may have a similar setting as well). Once it is turned on and you hit apply the picture should come on the screen. If you check off extend windows desktop onto this monitor, you will only see the desktop without any icons. Make sure that feature is disabled when you use monitor 2 (by default it is).

This should keep you busy to get it to work. Let me know if you need anymore assistance on this.

Shadows on screen

Try moving a medium powered magnet (not one for picking up heavy objects and not a refrigerator holding one) over the distorted area. If that doesn't work, try a more powerful one. This worked for my Toshiba LCD. Good luck!
