Try using the start menu to open the control panel and select Adjust Screen Resolution. If adjust the resolution doesn't solve the problem or you can't access the control panel in any way you may have a more serious software problem at hand and should see a computer repair shop.

double tap the button labeled 'prt sc' or 'print screen', open MS-Paint or your favorite photo editing software, right click, select 'paste'. This will get you a still picture of your screen at the moment you double tapped the print screen button. If you want take a video capture of your screen, Fraps is free to use.

I deleted one driver and after that my screen just got magnified. i dont know how to bring it back. i went to properties-settings still nothing happend plss help me i want to bring it back.:(

Do you know whatdriver you deleted? You can try couple of things but you would probably get the best results for drivers by going to the manufacturer of the hardware.
Click on "start", then click on control panel. In your list, find device manager, rohjy click on, open and click continue. Click on the box with + next to "display adaptors". You will see a drop down wiyh your device. Right click on it and in the list you should see "disable". If you see "enable", click on that and exit. Right click on it again and click on the "properties" tab. You should see " this device working properly". Exit. If it still looks magnified, go back to device manger and right click on your device. Click on properties then, click on the "driver" tab. Click on update driver then, click on "search automatically...".

Using outlook or word with Windows 7 PC, font size will suddenly change. Why? Magnifying glass pops up, unasked, by cursor. Annoying. Why? thanx for any help

Hello!

It sounds like Windows Magnifier is turned on, which is one of the tools available through the "Ease of Access Center".

To quickly exit the Magnifier (for the time-being), press the Windows key + Esc simultaneously. This key combination toggles the Magnifier on/off. (Windows key has the Windows Logo on it, usually between the left-sided "Ctrl" and "Alt" keys on typical keyboard).

To disable the Magnifier altogether:
Ensure you are logged in as an administrator or user that is a member of administrators group.
Click "Start", then click "Control Panel". Then click a blue & white icon labeled "Ease of Access Center". Look below the initial "Quick access to Common Tools" boxes at top of page, to a section called "Explore all settings". Click on the link "Make the Computer Easier To See", which brings up the section which pertains to the visual display. At the bottom of that page, there is a section labeled "Make things on the screen appear larger, below it a link, then a check box "Turn on Magnifier". Uncheck this box, and ensure nothing else on the page is checked. Click "Apply", then click "OK".

This should turn off the magnifier completely for the system. For future reference, should you ever need the Magnifier tool, you will see a small magnifying glass icon on the taskbar - click that to open the Magnifier toolbar, and you can then set how the magnifier works and where it works, and whether or not it follows mouse movement or is docked. Handy sometimes, as things on some screens can be rather difficult to read when print is especially tiny. If you have the issue of not being able to read icons or their labels on the desktop, or on the system as a whole, you can adjust this by opening "Control Panel" and then "Display" - where you can set the screen text and icon sizes to "small" "medium" or "large" to suit your needs - it's much easier and alot less annoying than Magnifyer can be - just something to keep in mind should you ever need it.

Hope this info helped you! If for some reason you have any additional problems, or get stuck, please come back and let us know...best of luck!

My screen magnifies too much after downloading games making it impossible to use till it has rested for some time .The magnifier cannot be seen at the time

I don't think it's the magnifier. Many games change the resolution of the screen whila playing the game, but then they fail to return the screen to the same resolution it was before. To solve the problem, right-click the mouse on an empty part of the desktop, when the manu appears, select "properties", then the tab labeled "settings" and manually set the correct screen resolution

Can't get magnifier off screen

First of all make sure to update to the latest driver. The problem is, the side buttons are very easy to push without meaning to do so. Right click the mouse icon in your system tray and select "Mouse Properties" select the BUTTONS tab, then disable both the left and right side mouse buttons. Click on APPLY and then OK

Magnifier doesn't work

Try going to Control Panel and click on the mouse icon. Then the mouse properties will appear showing the mouse. In the left column, move your cursor over the right side button click on the drop down and select magnify. Hopefully it will now work.

I had to move the magnify function to the left button because it was to sensitive on the right.

Hi, I have the same problem. I resolved it. The steps are - 1.Go to control panel 2. click on mouse and it will take you to mouse properties . It will display you the Microsoft mouse 3.Go to "buttons" Tab 4.Change the option in the "small thumb button" box to "click" from "Magnifier"..the default is "Magnifier"..that is why if u accidentally push this button..it opens up an annoying magnifier.. 5. then click apply..It works

Magnifying glass

use the left button on the side (the same one that turns it on), but you have to click quickly, because if you hold it down (as i did), you only get the option to change the dimensions of the magnification area.
