I have tried to regrout the pan to the remainder of the pearl unit. However, it does not adhere to the surface no matter how clean or how dry. Is there a product that will assist in adhering the grout?

The grout will not stick to the unit at all unless you are using an epoxy grout. Better to grout to it and then seal it with a flexible sealant.

SC551 (thermistor disconnect: thermistor2) or SC561 (thermistor disconnect: thermistor3) is displayed.

The drawer connector surface is partially corroded.
A foreign object or debris has adhered to the surface of the fusing unit drawer connector contact and, when the adhered moisture melts due to condensation, it causes part of the surface of the drawer connector to corrode. It becomes clear that SC551/SC561 occur because of faulty contact with the image fusing unit.

Replace the drawer connector on the device.

How to replace a oil pan gasket 2003 mercury sable

1st. Can you remove the oil pan without partially removing the engine? If - YOU CAN'T - take it to a local ASE Professional. Concerns: 1 - rear main seal, will it be damaged when you remove the oil pan. 2. Front oil seal, pan seal, same concern? Lets assume you can remove the oil pan, ok, ... you MUST get the TWO gasket surfaces clean, smooth, I mean REAL CLEAN. SIT THE oil pan with the gasket surface up and flat, ..CLEAN THE GASKET SURFACES AND EVERY BOLT with QUICK EVAPORATING brake cleaner or acetone. Let then dry. Get some Permatex spray "red" gasket glue/sealer. Spray the pan side of the gasket with the red glue, carefully lay the gasket on the pan, use the bolts to locate the gasket, make sure the gasket is seated against the pan 100% around the edges!!!! Let the gasket dry overnight!! Then spray the face of the gasket with the red sealant before installing, do it while its still tacky. tighten all bolts finger tight, then start a criss cross pattern, start slowly tightening them (WITH A QUALITY TORQUE WRENCH) TO 50% OF RECOMMENDED.VALUE, keeping the criss cross pattern to 75%, then to 100 - 110% of FACTORY SPECIFICATION. This should stop all gasket caused leaks!!

Silicone does not properly stick to my charlotte maax corner shower, poor adhesion

The surface wasn't clean enough. It needs to be SUPERBLY clean, with absolutely no soap residue, because silicone won't stick to soap. After cleaning normally with ammonia water, just before applying silicone, wipe the surface down with rubbing alcohol and dry it off with toilet paper. Then the silicone should adhere better.

How do i drain the transmission fluid on a 2001 daewoo lanos?

Transmission fluid is drained by removing the bottom pan off the transmission. There is no drain plug. If unobstructed by a crossmember, support or the exhaust, you can do this your self. Obtain a filter and gasket set, 1 can of brake cleaner, and 1 gallon of recommended transmission fluid from local parts store. Remove negative battery cable. Raise and support front of vehicle using jack stands or ramps. Set parking brake.

Loosen bolts 3/4 way around pan and put a catch pan beneath trans. pan. Slowly loosen remaining bolts until fluid begins to drain from 1 corner, loosen as it drains until you can remove pan. (its messy no matter how careful you are) Clean pan out well using brake cleaner. Clean outer rim/gasket surface of pan and mating surface of transmission thouroughly as to leave no evidence of old gasket or sealant down to shiny metal. You can use a bit of fine sandpaper or steel wool to help. Do not oversand. Clean all surfaces completely finishing with a wipe off using brake cleaner, make sure pan and trans. mating surfaces are dry and free of fluid. Install new filter in transmission, then gasket and pan as advised by instructions in filter/gasket kit. Re-fill transmission fluid through dipstick hole marked TRANS or TRANS FLUID in engine compartment using a funnel in dipstick tube. Put in about 2 quarts, then start engine in park on level surface. Put in SMALL amounts of fluid , re-checking level continuously until proper level is reached. Drive car 10-20 miles and re-check fluid level again, add accordingly. DO NOT overfill transmission, as seal damage will result. If you overfill, drain small amount off by loosening pan bolts slightly and jacking up one side of vehicle to make gravity force some out. Let us know how you do :)

I do not have a camera at this moment that i can use but i can tell you the unit is tilted and is lower on the out side. however it still not dripping towards the back for some reason it is not getting to...

The unit probably needs taken out of the window and given a good cleaning. Slime and lint build up in the evaporator pan and on the evaporator surface itself and causes water to overflow the pan. Be very careful to cover electrical parts, controls, motor, etc while cleaning. Use a good strong household spray cleaner to wash condenser and evaporator and rinse out with a hose spray. Careful not too much pressure. Let dry good and replace.

Remove oil pan from 2007 Saturn Hybrid Vue

Believe it or not, it is a VERY simple task. Take a flat-tipped screwdriver and tap in between the motor and oil pan. All automotive books say the SAME thing. This is regular practice and will NOT damage anything. You have to pry the pan off. If it is adhered this good....make double sure you clean both surfaces off before re-applying the new pan gasket. A scraper (has a razor blade on the end of a handle) will help the clean the block surface.

One thing to remember, once you get the gasket sealant oneither the block or the pan, let it set till it is tacky. Then, as you put the pan back up, work a cross pattern to install the bolts and only start them finger tight. Once you have all the bolts on, tighten then again in a criss cross pattern and try not to overtighten them until you have them all snugged down. Then tighten them to specs. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!!! You gasket will start to "seep" out and then you will have to repeat the process for a leaking oil pan.

If you need more info, post a comment again.
