This is NOT a projection television. It is an AV mixer.

  • 734jeant May 23, 2008

I don't know how to perform a factory reset.

  • 734jeant May 23, 2008

When I turn it on, only the power light comes on. No "Sync warning light, no buss lights, or any of the others that are usually lit.

Make sure that you are sending in the correct signal type. Also, try resetting to factory. If you messed up a setting, you could end up with just the black field. Also, is there anything in the "preview" output?

I realize that. There should be a factory reset option. I believe that your model also allows you to black out the output. If the settings have been confused it is possible that this unit is "stuck" in the blackout mode. Try the factory reset first. I'll look up the model tonight and see about other options for you.

Missing red composite signal on panasonic pt-47wx52cf

Check your jacks and cables.

The RED jack is either (1) left or right channel AUDIO signal or (2) the RED color channel of an RGB (Red, Green, Blue) COMPONENT video signal.

Yellow is the COMPOSITE video signal.

I have an older 2004 or so philips hdtv projection tv with the built in tv stand. i want to connect my HD cable box but there are no hdmi ports. and i buy a wire with the VGA on one end and hdmi on the...

Get a component video cable (blue, green, red) and a separate RCA audio cable (white and red) if your cable box has a component video output and the TV has a component video input.

If your cable box doesn't have the component output, you will need a converter to go from the HDMI to component video. Something like this: http://www.hdtvsupply.com/hdmi-to-component.html . There are other converters available if your TV has some other inputs available.

A cable that has an HDMI M on one end and a VGA M on the other will not work. HDMI signals from the set top box are a digital signal. The VGA port on the TV is set to read an RGB analog signal. (Similarly a component to VGA cable would not work since the RGB and PbPrY are not compatible.)

I hope this helps.

I have a Hitachi 50CX29B 50 in, got it used, it only turns on sometimes i think the power button is lose, and when on the picture flickers occasionaly, is this something that can be fixed easily

The first reason for this fault is the lamp itself, just about to expire.
Check the lamp and then if OK power the projector up with no signal. Does it flicker then? If it doesn't it is a signal lead or the signal itself, if it does suspect the lamp.

How do I escape from an input screen back to watching satellite tv? Screen reads first please connect all signals and antennas to jacks and terminals on the back of the tv then press the channel up key...

Looks like your set is not receiving the signal from the sat. receiver. Make sure that the audio/video cable is in good shape and connected correctly, then select the correct input on your tv. If that doesn`t work try to connect a dvd or vcr on the same cable, if that is still no go then you may have a bad audio/video cable or there is a problem with your tv set. If it does work(dvd/vcr) then you`ll have to check your satellite receiver. Hope this help. Good luck

Need convergence tubes price and where to order

Hi, set doesn`t have "convergence tubes", it has 3 picture tubes and it has 2 convergence IC`s post the symptom you see on the screen or tell us where you got the term "convergence tubes". If it needs all 3 tubes the set is not cost effective to repair as they are veeery expensive to buy and you WILL need an experienced tech to install them and then align them, convergence repair here in central florida runs about 275.00, price for your area may differ greatly, send us more info if this doesn`t help, video-tek

Not supported mode message

Sounds like your source device is sending a signal that your TV does not know how to interpret.

This usually happens when you try to input a computer (PC) signal to a device expecting video.

If you are indeed trying to connect your PC to your TV, and your PC allows "HDTV resolutions" (most modern graphics hardware allows this) then set the output to 1080i or 720p (1920x1080 or 1280x720) and it should work.
