No, never use it in the oven or on the stovetop. Only microwave other than crockpot.

Good evening! Can the ceramic insert to my slow cooker Westbend 84386 be used in the oven?

seems rather plausible, however wouldn't it be best to visit the company website - and -- or download an owners manual for this particular unit just to be certain?

Can we put our 6.5 crt. bravetti crock in the oven because we started our scallop potatoes to late.

Hi there, I would say if it has the removable ceramic insert that you can remove from the base, it can be put in the oven. Generally all of the crock pots I have ever had or seen do have the removable ceramic pot with a glass lid. Yes these crocks can be put in an oven. Hope this helps.

Cracked ceramic Kitchenaid crock pot liner

There is no inherent problem with the Kitchenaid ceramic inserts. As far as a replacement ceramic insert, I would suggest calling Kitchenaid Customer Service. They may be able to provide a new insert at no cost if the unit is still within the 1 Year warranty.

Their toll-free phone number is 1-800-541-6390.

From the horses mouth: The stoneware insert can withstand 380degrees fahrenheit, sans glass lid.

You are fine.
