This unfortunately a common situation when you use Hotmail,
Sorry to hear about your delicate situation...
If you use Hotmail, Gmail, Yahoo mail: some no-gooders will search those public emails listings and randomly but systematically try to add you to their updates list and invite you to do so without knowing you at all and usually for no-good purposes and spamming!
Just delete their invitations and report them as spammers when declining their invitations to join.
Hope I have explained the situation and reduced your concerns a bit.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

In yahoo mail I Can't bring up email in out box keeps clocking

I've (also) recently experienced more than the usual amount of "clocking" when checking yahoo mail ... i.e. system busy icon ... which doesn't enable you to do much else.
When the "clocking" is shown, the system is busy because it's doing something else in the background. Sometimes, it's downloading stuff - something else, like software updates, ad's, pop-up screens, images & videos for ad's, etc.), updating previous webpages, checking for updates to software (on your computer), and/or running some (other) programs ... which may include spyware, ad-tracking software, malware, security / virus scanning applications, etc.
Yes, yahoo mail downloads a lot of "junk" (advertisements) ... particularly since it's a free tool. One way to reduce this volume of downloads is to set your browser to not accept pop-ups, to only accept cookies from the webpages you visit, to not store or update previous webpages, to delete old webpages (from history), to delete (internet-temporary) cache when closing the browser, and to delete your cookies ... just to get rid of ad tracking cookies that spawns processes/apps that bring down other advertisements related to what you've been doing/searching, viewing, etc..
If yahoo mail is not responding (e.g. mail server is slow), it will display a message accordingly. And the "clocking" won't last long. Sometimes, your system slows down because it retains lots of "old" or "temporary" stuff and/or your disk is quite full and/or fragmented causing it to take longer to access data/files, and/or your registry is cluttered up with un-used stuff. In such a case, it helps to clean out the "junk" (e.g. using CCleaner ) and de-frag your disks (regularly).
Sometimes, it helps to shut down and boot the system again (after cleaning out the junk, etc.)
Some may even suggest you get a faster processor, a faster internet connection and/or a bigger disk ... ;-)

Can't get most of my attachments to appear

With the Web-based Yahoo! Mail service, you can attach to your email message a saved Web page or another document in HyperText Markup Language format.
When you attach an HTML file in this way, Yahoo! Mail won't display the HTML content of the attached file in the email message body.
To view the attachment, you must click the attachment tab above the email message.Yahoo! Mail and HTML
Yahoo! Mail is a Web-based service and it's fully compatible with the coding languages used to design and display Web content, including HTML and XML, Extensible Markup Language.
This means emails sent or received in Rich text or HTML format include clickable hyperlinks, graphics and other Web design elements.
However, Yahoo! handles emails with HTML attachments in a different way to email messages formatted with HTML.

About Yahoo! Mail Attachments
Like most email programs and online services, Yahoo! Mail offers an attachment feature for adding images, video clips, audio files and HTML document to email messages.
Some email programs display the content of the attached file in the email message body, but Yahoo! Mail doesn't provide this feature for any file attachment, whether it's an image, video clip or HTML document.

Viewing Yahoo! Mail Attachments When you attach an HTML document or another file to your Yahoo! Mail message, an "Attachments" button labeled with a "Paperclip" icon appears below the email address fields and above the email message body.
Clicking the "Attachments" button opens a pane containing a list of all files attached to the email. The email sender or recipient can open each attachment to view the files by clicking the file name.

Considerations

When sending a Yahoo! Mail with an attachment, always explain the content of the attachment in the main body of the email message.
A brief explanation will encourage the recipient to click and open the attachment to view the HTML document.
Bear in mind that many email services automatically block HTML attachments because of the security risk of opening HTML files, which can contain viruses, phishing scams or open Web pages with inappropriate content.
If you want to share a favorite Web page with a friend or contact, include a hyperlink to the Web page rather than a saved copy as an HTML attachment.

I recently switched to Yahoo but I cannot seem to attach any pictures.. hat am I doing wrong?

Share photos through the Internet the same way you would share other news - in a Yahoo! email message.
Yahoo! Mail may be your go-to choice for text emails, but the free email program also offers the ability to attach photos with your messages.
There's no additional charge to send photos with Yahoo!, though the more photos you attach, the more time it may take for your email to get to the recipient.

Log in to your Yahoo! Mail account.
Click the "New" button. If prompted, click "New Email Message."

Enter the recipient's name into the "To" field, or click the "To" link and select the name from your Contacts folder.
Enter a subject line and type a message into the body section of the email window.
Click the "Attach Files" button.
Click the "Browse" button to the right of "File 1."
Go to the first picture to include and double-click it.
This lists the file path in the "File 1" box.

Click the "Browse" button for "File 2" and repeat the process.
To attach more than five pictures, click the "Attach More Files" link.

Click the "Attach Files" button.
Depending upon your computer's speed and the files' size, it may take a few seconds to a few minutes to complete the attachment process.

Click the "Send" button to send the photos.

Someone has stolen my Yahoo email account and are sending out messages asking for money.

you should contact yahoo customer services and also contact you local law authority. after supplying both with the relevant information do a full virus scan of your computer it is quite possible that a scammer unleashed a spyware programme you downloaded unaware giving them access to your email and other "secure" web related data or worse your credit card details if you provided them to a website such as pay pal with 6 months of the date this email hoax situation happened! as for your contacts its quite possible that if you had yahoo IM you could salvage all of your contacts or a least a few of them

and im sorry if what i say sounds like im scare mongering but its happened to me before i now virus scan everything i download before installing anything and spyware can give a scammer all the cookies you have on your harddrive which shows all your websites also be aware of emails which have links direct to login pages its quite possible that the login pages arent 100% legitimate especially those which dont show the web address or claim login pages have been moved to a new page

Added a different email

wowgirl

the issue is not related to the sbcglobal email (its normal to add sbcglobal emails and hotmail too)
its related to internet explorer compatibility
so the fix to the yahoo issue is just to update internet explorer to the next available version (if you have IE6 then update it to IE7 and so on).

dont forget to rate my answer

cheers.
