Best place usually is grangers if you just need a motor. Take in motor and they can match up the exactone for you.

Check with your local dealer. Electrolux dealerships are the only place to get the part. Call them to send someone knowledgeable out to check the machine. Depending on the age of your vacuum, it may still be under warranty. If the broken fan is not due to abuse or normal wear and tear, then the warranty should cover it.

mcdevito75 here, If the fan is not too old I would figure yes, but a replacement motor will cost as a new fan, if not more, then you have to install and the blades are a presss fit to the motor.

i had to drop the whole plastic bumper to get it out. Becareful the fan shroud alone isn't cheap.

Turn the A/C on and the fan shgould run, if it doesnt run, take a small hammer or anything and knock on the motor, if it runs or attempts to run the motor is bad, and will need replacement.

if the fan is making noise it can also due to dust collected in the fan winks towards it end.or the other option is motor getting weak and needs replacement.
