Question about Lenovo IdeaPad Y510 Notebook
Based on your concern, since you have a broken base I recommend to contact the technical support of Lenovo. They will set up a depot repair for you to diagnose the computer and to repair it completely. You may contact them at this number 1-877-4Lenovo (1-877-453-6686).
--> Hours of operation, 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
--> If your system is still in warranty, shipping in, repair and return of your computer is free of charge.
--> but if your system is out of warranty you need to pay for the out of warranty repair.
Out of warranty fee:
There's an $80 initial charge fee for the repair (upfront), it's non refundable but consumable. The approximate total amount would be $220 after the $80 initial charge fee.
Hope it helps.
