It is probably a horizontal transistor gone short circuit which controls the H.V. transformer no power for picture or the H.V. transformer gone short circuit as well or it maybe a power supply fault

I have the power cord dvd cords and cable cords plugged in and there is no picture the tv wont turn on it should turn on but it wont it wont even show that its off

Have you verified #1 that your outlet is putting out 120 VAC? Have to checked input power fuse inside chasis? What about a stuck power on switch? Unplug all access. except the TV and try powering it on.

No power

It most likely is your fan. Your TV most likely overheated and shut down by itself.

If you still have a warrenty on the TV, call them and they will replace it for free (or whatever your warrenty claims). If it is not covered by warrenty or insurance, then you will have to find a new fan. Try eBay or Amazon.com.

Good luck!

Power surge I think

If you do not get any clicking or sound when trying to turn on the TV set, most likely the main fuse went out. This is almost always due to something else blowing out along or making the fuse to blow out. DO NOT SIMPLY REPLCE THE BLOWN FUSE! If there is other shorts inside the set, and you replace the blown fuse, you can cause more damage to the TV set. The best way to test this set if the fuse is blown would be to hook up a 100 to 150 watt light bulb across the blown fuse, and if there is a short in the TV set the light bulb will glow bright and stay bright. If the bulb lights up and goes dim maybe just maybe you got luck so replace the fuse and see what happens. If the light bulkb stays bright, there is a short in the set somewhere and if you do not have a service manual and a good multimeter and a knowledge of how the TV power supply works, you really should call in a pro to assist you in the repair of this TV. there is just too much High Voltage inside these TV sets to be experieenting around inside of it. Good Luck.
