If you can browse other site, it is usually indicate an issue with a Network Firewall either on the PC/Laptop or on the Router.
If you have an antivirus/antispyware/firewall installed on your PC/Laptop, review the log to see if it is stopping you from using a Mail program or just temporarily disable the antivirus/antispyware/firewal software before trying to disable your router firewall (if you are allowed that is!).
Hope the information is useful.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Yahoo messenger unable to detect internet connection when signing in

Check the proxy settings inside of Yahoo messenger. It may vary by version, but it should be similar to: http://help.yahoo.com/l/e1/yahoo/messenger/messenger9/notices/ms9taconproxyserver.html

Also make sure that your not behind a firewall or personal firewall that is blocking the port 5050 outbound.

I want to register yahoo messenger

You can use a Yahoo! ID to access all things Yahoo!--including email, games and the Yahoo! Messenger instant messenging service. If you already have a Yahoo! email account, you do not have to create a new ID to use Messenger. To create a new Yahoo! ID, you use the same process as creating a new email address, because your Yahoo! Messenger ID is your Yahoo! email account.

1.Open your web browser and navigate to the Yahoo! home page (see Resources).

2.Click "Sign Up" at the top of the site.

3.Fill out the sign-up form. You will need to supply your name and some other personal information, as well as create an ID, password and security questions. For security reasons, you also need to type in a code at the bottom of the form.

4.Click "Create Account" when ready.

5.Sign in to Yahoo! Messenger using the ID and password you just created.

Hi, you can uninstall/ reinstall the yahoo messenger instead of other people getting a sign on error message. I have experienced that same problem years back and I guarantee that once you change your mail ID, other people cannot access yahoo messenger on your computer...

Im using globe broadband connection yet im unable to use ym

If you have Messenger 10 you will have the sign in troubleshooting facility to narrow down the possibilities.
If you have AVG free edition, there is a known conflict and you will have to contact AVG support for assistance ( Try signing in with AVG disabled to check this out )

The yahoo messenger says I've been disconnected because I've sign

Hi, we now have several locations that are capable of accessing the Yahoo Instant Messaging feature.
Yahoo Messenger itself, plus Yahoo Web Messenger, Yahoo All New Mail, My Yahoo, your Mobile phone, plus any other computer.etc etc.
Yahoo classifies all these programs as different 'locations or devices'
Yahoo currently do not allow you to have 2 open and active at the same time. If you have one open, and then move to another, one will close and you get a message telling you that you have been signed out. You CAN have Messenger and Mail open together as long as your status is set to "offline" in MAIL by using the drop-box next to your name and selecting 'Sign out of chat'. ( your chat contacts will remove themselves from the inbox until you make yourself 'available' again.)
Please note:
You may think you are signed out of Messenger when this is not the case.
Hitting the 'X' when you close the Messenger page does not sign you out of Messenger it only closes that page - you have to Exit Messenger by right clicking the icon in the system tray.and selecting 'Exit' I suggest you make this setting. > (left click) Messenger > Preferences > General - check box "sign out of Messenger when I close the main window" > Apply > OK.
If the above does not apply and you suspect your account is being used by a hacker. When you get signed out, close all your Yahoo programs and type your name into this software. Hit "GO" and hopefully it will show you as "offline".
If not, contact Yahoo customer services

I have been disconnected from yahoo messenger

It may cause of 2 different reasons:

1. Maybe some one else has your password (or you hacked) and he/she really use your ID from other computers.About this case, if you can sometimes sign in yet, I suggest you to change your password on other computer (Not your computer) because maybe your compter has infected by trojan and if you change your pasword, the new password will send to that hacker again! so do that in other computer (A clean computer!) and then try to kill trojans on your system as soon as possible.

2. The second reason is cause of some problems on yahoo that will fix!

So as I said, you should find the source of problem, check signing in by other computer, if it sign in, so the problem comes from your computer.Try to fix it!

note: don't forget to check your firewall!

Good luck
