Hello Friend here is the solution for you
Try with these steps

Try installing the following patch for "uenexpected internal error or communication falure" error message.

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?lc=en&cc=us&softwareitem=sj-32245-2

Please copy the entire link starting from "http" to "sj-32245-2" and paste it the address bar of a new window of Internet Explorer. Then open the link from there.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Regarding error 1706, these errors only occur after the temporary files have been deleted from the computer. The software CD needs to be inserted when requested to allow the application to reinstall the missing file. The software will then work correctly.

If the software CD is not inserted and the message cancelled, a secondary 1706 error occurs. Clicking OK will bring up another request to insert the software CD. The errors will then loop approximately three times before stopping and the scanning operation will proceed, as it should but if another operation is selected from the Director the errors will reappear and the loop begins again. The only way to stop the errors is to insert the software CD when requested.

Also, download and install( MSIcuu2.exe) MS windows installer cleanup utility. Select "PS Printer08.msi" from the list and remove it.

http://support.microsoft.com/?id=297834
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If Scan.msi error occurs after the software is installed.

Please remove the hpqtra08 file from Msconfig.

=== Running MSConfig ===

To run MSConfig, perform the following steps:

1. Click Start and select Run.
2. Type MSConfig and press Enter.
3. Click the Startup tab.
4. From the list, deselect all the HP related programs
5. Click OK.
6. Restart the system.

The Windows installer cleanup utility can usually kill the installer
configuration loop for whatever program(s) keeps triggering it if the
only problem was with the install.

Hi, when I start my IBM laptop I received an Unload error "1706 no valid unload source could be found for product." What does that mean and how do I repair the problem? I am using Windows XP.

as per my experince
I suspect your problem is related to the fact that you are loading
software on CD-ROMs from a DVD drive and XP is having problems
locating the drivers but the fix isn't simple.
Microsoft says that Error 1706 is a Microsoft Office Error code which
indicates that required files can not be found by Setup. Since you
are trying to install new programs I feel that this is probably the
correct interpretation of your error code.

Problems installing ms office pro 2007

hi Error 1706 is a Microsoft error that is sometimes generated when you install a Windows package from some form of removable data. Examples of removable data would be a CD-ROM or a DVD. Typically, the exact text of Error 1706 will include the phrase "no valid source could be found."
One of the usual causes of this problem is that the Windows Installer or MSI file is not residing in the root folder of the media that is found on the removable data. This does not mean that the MSI file is not somewhere on the media -- just that it is not in the folder that your system is checking. While, in most cases, the Media Package Path would be altered to create a clear path to the MSI file.
