I have a PTAC Model PTCO93B35AJ, SERIAL 0408181195, MFG P1259902R, The AC works fine but when I turn on the heater it clicks repeatedly but doesn't stay running. If the heater does turn on it only runs a minute or so then shuts down and starts that clicking again. The unit has a note on the inside that states this unit has a manual reset for heater but I could not find it. I have had it for 7 years and have never had to reset any switch. Is there any troubleshooting steps you could give me. Thank You, Bob

Try setting the fan control to "AUTO" this will cause it to cut out with the compressor.

Sounds like if this is a heat pump, maybe it tripped out on high pressure. Maybe just unplugging the system may reset the control boards. This maybe due to a dirty filter or dirty evaporator coil.

COILS USUALLY FREEZE UP DUE TO INSUFFICIANT AIRFLOW ACROSS THEM. IF THE FILTER IS DIRTY, THEN IT SHOULD BE REPLACED IF IT IS DISPOSABLE, OF CLEANED IF IT IS A PERMANENT ONE. THE ONLY OTHER REASON FOR A FREEZING COIL IS A LOW FREON CHARGE. IF THE UNIT HAS A LEAK, AND IS STILL UNDER WARRANTY, THEN RETURN IT TO THE MANUFACTURER. HOPE THIS HELPS. I have a Amana PTAC Model PTH153A50AC with the DigiSmart upgrade kit (DSUK01B) which as of last night stoped generating heat. I tried the Diagnostic and got a "LF" displayed. But I find no reference to what LF means. HELP please. Also I looked but can't find a reset button either.
