My Lexmark E250DN said it needed a new Photoconductor so we replaced and it still says we need a new photo conductor, How do I fix this?

Whenever you replace the photoconductor unit, remember to reset the PC counter. With the printer powered on, open the front door/cover. Press and hold the cancel button until all the lights flash. This indicates that the photoconductor page count has been reset. Hope this helps. Thank you for choosing Lexmark.

Here are some steps you can follow to remedy the problem:
1. Turn the printer off, and remove the rear cover. Check the connector JFUSER1 for proper connection to the system card, the cable for pinch points, and the cable or connector for any other damage. Is the cable damaged? If yes, replace the fuser cable. If not,
2. Remove the fuser. Check the DC autoconnects on both the fuser and the printer for damage. Are the connectors damaged? If yes, replace the JFUSER1 cable. If not,
3. Check for the following continuity between the DC autoconnect and FUSER1. Is the continuity present? If yes, go to step 4. If not, replace the DC fuser cable.
4. Replace the fuser. Does the error clear? If yes, problem solved. If not, replace the system card.

Lexmark c534 printed pictures are very dark

Hi,
Just to be sure that this is not a software problem try the following. Go to printers menu and select Reports then Print Demo Page. That will print a Demo page which is a picture. If that picture is very dark as well then the problem is with hardware. You can start by resetting all values to factory defaults. To do that turn the printer off then press and hold the check mark and the Right Pointing arrow, then power the printer on. Wait until the little clock appears and then release the buttons. You will be entering the Config Menu. Then using the arrow buttons search for Factory Defaults and select using the Check mark button. That will reset the Factory Defaults and will make sure that all the settings go back to what they were before. Then Print Another Demo Page if the problem persisted then try to check the life of the Photoconductors and make sure they are not contaminated. This could also be a problem with the High Voltage Power Supply, if thats the case it will probably have to be replace.
