Question about Dell OptiPlex GX240 PC Desktop
Hello. I have a desktop DELL OPTIPLEX GX240 BIOS revision AO3. And Windows xp professional sp3. I have a problem is when i on the computer, until windows start need to wait too long time . Around i need to wait 6 or 8 minute. I think this problem my BIOS. How can i solve this problem. Thanks

Hi, although the person that gave you the picture was helpful, they didn't exactly answer your question.
There are two memory slots in the GX240, SDRAM slots which will accomodate 512 MB of pc133 sdram in each slot. Both E.C.C. , and non-E.C.C. are supported, but 1 gig of memory total is the max allowed by the chipset. This is because the GX240 uses the intel i845 chipset, along with a intel motherboard, specifically designed for and built exclusively for Dell

System memory 256MB of PC133 SDRAM This can be either 3 128MB chips, or 1 256MB chip.
