I have Nokia E 63. My phone is showing "no network" and "emergency calls only" message. On trying to search the network it says- "Unable to use network. phone is currently in offline mode." How to resolve this problem?

"emergency calls only" means your SIM doesn't get connected to the phone or you have EEPROM code corrupted. No way to make it work on your own - get your device serviced at the local repair shop.
Since the network 'shows' busy, it could actually mean that the network is jammed. This may allow text messages, but not calls. The problem is with the network and not your phone. Contact your mobile service operators to know what the issue is. They could be working on the system. But if they are not, I'm sure would able to restore full network so you can make and receive calls.
Please do let me know if this helps. Have a lovely day.
try to ask your network provider to unlock the network again, maybe you got blocked somehow. if it's a new phone you will need anyhow to unlock the network. do you receive any error message in the screen?
hello sir, this emergency calls only is seen only when ur SIM is not activated or ur cell phone dosent catches the signal. Well it shows the signal full but thats the FAKE signal. If ur SIM is activated try the MOBILE NETWORKS in the SETTINGS option > Connectivity U will search for new networks and u will find ur NETWORK Operator
If ur SIM is invalid u wil continue receving the same message "emergency calls only"
Go to Setting-Network-Operator Selection. Keep it Automatic
Go to Setting-Call-Send my caller ID. Keep it Set by network
& check your line in use. Keep it in Line 1
actually your network service provider gives you message center number. call their customer care to get the msg center no. put it in msg center box.. and everything will work fine.
