I have the similar problem, currently running with all up to-date driver. with no problem discovered by windows, but i'm still experiencing BSOD, sometime. system——exception.
Could it be the incompatible with the software and hardware that cause the problem?

Can travelmate 2428awxci run windows 7?

Without any hardware upgrades, I'd say no. Below are the minimum requirements to run Win 7. A stock model of your laptop doesn't meet the minimum.

If you want to run Windows 7 on your PC, here's what it takes:
  • 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
  • 1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
  • 16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
  • DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

Hi

Well about guaranteed your 2 gigs ram is probably DDR II ram which has maximum of four gigs with 64 bit processing and 2 with 32 bit is. So motherboard needs upgrade. 35.00 for good giabit or board with 1000 megs a sec ethernet lan. With ddrIII ram. And upgrade operating system I believe win 8 has max 16 gig ram win 7 uses 8 gis vista and longhorn 64 use 4 and xp normal edition 32 bit uses 2 max. So you about have to run win 7 or 8. Win 7 will become direct x incomparable at some point making us change to win 8. Win8 cost like 300 to 350 and tiger direct.com has good deal of the win 7 pro media center for 75 bucks. So spend 150 on good speed 8 gig ram, 125 bucks for 12 core and at 4 GHz I think. And a board for 35. Reuse all other componets. And you\'ll have a 2500 dollar computer and best on the block. 1 GB increase

hi

not every motherboard or on board video is compatible with windows 8

what windows was it running previously

windows 8 was designed for 64 bit platforms which requires 4 gig of ram but you have to also take into account the other hardware components and there maximum configuration

i have run win 8 on 2 gig of ram but it struggles with you tube downloads

i upgraded the ram to 4 gig and run win xp win 7 and win 8.1 on the hard drive

cheers

P5PE-VM with Win7 has no display on PCI video cards-EVGA 2600 or EVGA gt 220. Both cards ran fine with Win XP. What do I need to do?

Hello here is the mainboards homepage:

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_775/P5PEVM/#download

Are you running 32 or 64 bit system ???

Make sure the video driver supports windows 7, 32 or 64 bit.

The video card can sure run fine on windows xp but not in windows 7 as it is a totaly different system.

The mainboard has a 1 x AGP 8X slot.

So now you maybe has to find a video card that supports windows 7

Try also to download a manual.

Good luck

How to get Drivers Updates after Windows 8 Upgrade for Toshiba C660D Laptop Please

This is a common problem with a new OS upgrade. Try to use Win 7 drivers. Modtify the drivers to be compatible with Win 8. Most times this will work, not always. Try here for Win 7 32 or 64 bit drivers: http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp?service=UK&mode=allMachines&action=search&teddProduct=6017&selShortMod=1041

I need the setup disc for an ASUS V9950 Ultra Graphics Adapter

Hello the graphic card is maybe too old for win 7.

But the vista driver works sometimes on windows 7

Here is the 64 bit version:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x64_96.85_2.html

And here the 32 bit:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x86_96.85_2.html

Here is the main download page:

http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

Remember to select the driver for your system a 64 bit driver will not run on a 32 bit.

If its not working with the drivers the graphic card must be renewed
with a card that supports windows 7.

Good luck

Usb port on presario F500 quit working, they are seen by device manager but will not reconize a flashdrive when incerted, a mouse or any thing else. Using win 7,64 bit t3500 cpu.

Hello,

This should be pretty easy to fix. I have seen this many times before. Here's what to do:

Go into device manager and expand 'universal serial bus controllers'.

Start at the very bottom, and start deleting the usb root hubs one by one. You will lose your touchpad control at some point, as the touchpad is actually a usb device. One of thwo things will happen.

1. The usb hubs will automatically be re-detected and re-installed.
2. You will just lose touchpad control after deleting one of the root hubs. If this happens, then shut down using the power button, and restart. Th usb hubs will be reinstalled once you log back into windows. Please let me know if this doesn't fix it.

Have deleted vista off toshiba satelite s2276, deleted all partitions, repartitioned to single large drive, formatted, booted from floppy, win 98 se setup started and working until installing drivers then...

If your system came with Vista pre-installed it is likely there are no XP or eariler drivers available for it, in which case you will have to stick with Vista or Windows 7.
