Question about Belkin (F5D7230-4) Router (587009)
After setting up my Belkins FSD7230-4 using the provided CD instructions everything looks great according to the instructions. Lights on, network activity flashing on both cable modem and router, software says I have a network connection but I can't logon to the internet from my main computer. I'm plugged in correctly from modem to router to computer.
I called Belkins. This was months ago. They gave me a bunch of IPs and other settings to check which were ok. They didn't seem to know what was going on. I also put in a password but I assume that only applies when logging on from a remote PC and doesn't affect the main desktop PC.
Does your router tell you it has an internet connection? (you can check this from the routers status page on it's web interface). If not, unplug the router and modem, then plug in the modem (wait approx 10 seconds). Once the modems status lights are static, plug in the router, and check the internet connection.
