I just replied your previous question that this problem occurs due to ccd imager chip failure that will be replaced to get live view in camera mode to take fresh pictures.
Local camera repair shop will replace it, let me know if you need part number of ccd imager chip of DSC-T33 camera.

my cam z sony DSC HX1..the problem z when i zoom in(max) the objct i m zoomin doesnt get focusd....when i shoot it the pic z totally blurrd....no matter how mch i try 2 focus with the manual focus option the outcum z da same....

It's a faulty CCD imager - a very common problem with the T33 - the imager has to be replaced. You can buy it from http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/toms.rammsteins and replace the CCD yourself (ask seller the instructions).

Hot pink effect in picture is due to bad CCD Imager in DSC-T33 camera and this part will be replaced.

Is this camera only have a digital zoom? If it has an optical zoom as well, you could have a setting that is set to ignore digital zoom and because your lighting conditions, zooming in and out is not currently possible because the aperture can not be opened enough to light you take a picture without being blurry. The auto focus would be taking priority in stopping you from taking a picture.

try cleaning the lens first.

when taking the picture press down lightly so it will focus. Then press harder for the picture.
