It says I have no sound device and I have tried downloading drivers(even from threads from here) and it still ceases to work. Where can I get a audio device for this computer?

Hi have you the driver cd for it ? if yes reinstall from that .
or try going into control pannel click hardware / sound . scroll down to device manager click on this . the problem will be indicated by a yellow warning sign right click this and update drivers .
there is one more thing to try you must down load from the net a program called driver genious 2007 this program will find any driver problems you may have and locate them from the net and install all the drivers to make your pc runs smoothly this is the best program on the market to solve any driver prblems ok
hope this helps for you thanks

hi thanks for letting me know .

right here we go win xp pro 1.5gig cpu i see no problems in your sys running infact it should handle most software with ease on your main board there should be a sound device already in stalled if this has failed then the most commen thing to do is install a new sound card on the board if you have tryed and failled in the first solution that i have given you then this is the only option left to you buying a new soud card and installing it to your main board just like what you would do if you was going to put a modem in ok .

what your wanting is a sound blaster 5.1 digital sound card as i think ebay is easyer you can get the card from there or try your local pc shop or pc world shop they will most def have what you need when your installing it follow the installing info on the box this will come with a installing cd that will make the sound on your pc even more fantastic

i do hope this helps you in fixing your problem im so sorry that it has taken a long time to get there but sometimes we are faced with some tricky problems to fix

if this has not solved your problem then by all means do keep asking and im sure that someone may have a solution to your problem

all the best hope it works for you

    thanks again

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

This is a fairly common problem with that Realtek device. What has happened is the driver is corrupt. You need to update the driver, even if your system says it is ok. The best place I have found to get drivers is driveragent.com There is a small yearly fee, but it has sure been worth it for me. If you know which Realtek card you have, you can also try their website at http://218.210.127.131/ or CNET at http://download.cnet.com/Realtek-High-Definition-Audio-Codec-Windows-Vista-Windows-7-32-bit/3000-2120_4-10788600.html

Bought a new computer but my speakers won't work. They worked on the old one. Do I need to download drivers?

Hello there:
I dont think that you would have to download any drivers unless you had to do it with the other computer.
what you may want to do is make sure you are connected to the right plug in and you can even try to play a cd and move the plug in from one hole to the next and if still nothing try this
go to control panel and go to sounds and then make sure that the sound devices are there and are not muted but if you get the error saying no audio device than you will have to download a
sound driver in that case i highly recommend downloading vinal ac 97 this is a free sound driver and mixer utility that works verey will with various operating systems ok and if all of this still does not work you may want to try a new speaker ok?
I hope that this is very helpfull for you
best regards michael

Sound driver not working

first ..I need to know the exact model and number ..meanwhile he just get to see if the sound card its seen by the windows...as found new device ...when it doesnt have a driver installed...if it doesnt sees it ...just take a look into the services ..control panel ...maintenance and performance.....administrative tool s to see if the sound card is enabled ....or better to check if its still alive ...
the problem might occur from using vista instead of xp....which I believe its the operating system that all that old computers came with ...so .....as I mentionated ...even if Im not a nerd..:P I will try to find the original driver if I have the ful name and model number ...take care !

No sound driver working on my gateway notebook pc

Did you check the Device Manager, the audio driver, has it a yellow ? against it or is it OK and enabled? If it is has the MUTE button been ticked?
If it has a yellow ? against the audio driver then the correct audio driver was not installed. Go to the Gateway Support/download page to download the correct XP driver for your model laptop's audio device and install it.
If the sound still doesn't work check Device Manager to see if the driver was installed and working.

No audio device found

Download Driver Cleaner Pro v.15 from the link. Also, download, and save on your desktop, a clean version of your Sound Card drivers. Run DCPv1.5 and remove all of your audio drivers, plus any possible problem drivers (i.e., if you installed generic drivers to try and get your card to work). After you uninstall, reboot, install your downloaded drivers and reboot again. This should fix your problem, if not please post an update to this thread and I'll continue troubleshooting with you.

Phone will not start

CauseError 535 means the BlackBerry device is out of memory. The error might appear because the virtual memory thread scheduler ceased when a thread ran out of memory. This error is known to occur during a start-up sequence or if the main event thread ceases.

ResolutionFirst, hard reset the BlackBerry device by pulling out the battery while the device is on. If this does not resolve the issue, obtain the latest version of the BlackBerry Device Software through your service provider. Then, run Application Loader in BlackBerry Desktop Manager to update the BlackBerry device.

My new headset

If you are using windows XP -- as unreal as it sounds just plug the device in and allow the Plut and Play installer to do it's thing -- it will appear as a device without a driver (in the device management list) but it will generally work. I have tried it on an HP machine and the control panel for sound and audio devices voice tab (as well as the audio tab) needs to be set to the plantronics device, too -- if you use the sound icon in the system tray the device seems to reset periodically to the one in the sound and audio control panel (just learned yesterday). The headset control on the wire -- the mute button (red illuminated button) has ceased to work for some time (possibly around the Service Pack 2 update) but the volume control does seem to work.
