Have not used the fax feature before. Just used the printer. Tried to send a fax today and it dials, says it is sending and then the screen reads "scanner failure - turn off and restart" doing this does not help. any suggestions?

- Printer has worked fine for years; now has wrong date and time, and when I try to scan or fax, I get a "scanner failure" error...tells me to power down, then turn back on....but no good. When I run a printer test from computer it works. When the printer does a self test, at boot, it doesn't work. - Aly2
