Question about Canon PIXMA MP150 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Just a word from an old pro. I won't even change them out any more for clients. It's messy and involved and sometimes just downright infuriating. I always have the local Canon Authorized service center do it, and then sell the printer for the client when the cost hits below the belt and get them an HP.
Please don't thrash my rating if you don't like my answer. I'm honestly trying to save you some grief.

Tips for a great answer:
Sep 05, 2011 | Canon PIXMA iP1000
Eight flashes: Waste ink absorber almost full
The printer has a built-in waste ink absorber for the ink used during Print Head cleaning. Eight flashes indicates that the waste ink absorber is nearly full. Press the RESUME/CANCEL button to cancel the error so you can continue printing. Before the waste ink absorber becomes completely full, contact a Canon service representative.
Canon recommends that you call for service as soon as this error occurs. Once the waste ink absorber becomes completely full, printing will no longer be possible
